Chapter 5

"Andrew please listen to me, you can't go running off in the night looking for her."  Markus had to find

a way to convince him to wait at least until morning when he could 

track her easier.  He could see the pain in his friends eye's but there was nothing he could do to

help him. "I know how badly you want to go find her, but honestly there is 

nothing you can do tonight." Markus I have to try. How can I leave her out there alone to fend for

herself?" he said almost pleading. " Andrew don't forget that she spent a 

while out there on her own before she was caught by the rebels." Andrew knew he  was right, it was

just hard to just sit back and do nothing.  "Fine I will wait until morning 

but I am leaving at first light and there is nothing that will stop me." Markus knew there was no

arguing with Andrew when his mind was made. " I will make sure cook has a 

bag with food made up and ready to go in the morning. " Thank you my friend that means a lot to

me, I will find her and bring her home."  He had to find her, already he felt 

lost with out her near. It's funny he just met her and only just found out she was even a girl yet he

misses her like he has known her for years. His heart is drawn to her his body it drawn to her and

she has no clue.  Would she want him to come looking for her? If she ran off on her own does that

mean she no longer wants to be with him? He was not going to even think about her being caught.

She must have been close and saw who it was.... maybe she was afraid and that's why she ran.

Maybe she was trying to protect him, ok so that is absurd why run from him when he could protect

her? There were just to many questions and no answers. Andrew went to his room to get

some sleep.

 Markus was pounding on Andrews door when it was jerked open. " What the hell is going on

man?"  I am sorry Andrew but there is a messenger here just arrived he says he has a letter from

the king.....  

  Lord Andrew Moray, 

   I hope this letter finds you well, I hate to bring you back into battle so soon but I fear there is a

need for your services.  We are currently fighting the Norse King Magnus and need all the

reinforcements we can get. I am sending letters out to all available men to come join the fight. The

sooner we get this settled the sooner you can get back to your home and your people. I ask that you

bring with you half the men you currently have and leave the rest to guard your castle.
