Second-hand jack-o-lantern,
blazing bonfires,
melty s'mores,
and memory candles.
Tie-dying t-shirts,
losing your drawers,
Coors Light baptism.
Navajo head piece,
sliding board slides,
and immune system workout.
Wishing for a wedding,
giggles and gossip over hot cocoa and moonshine,
cake and cookies.
Inflatable flamingo,
notebook diaries,
horses and hikes.
Happy twinkle lights,
glowy candles,
axes and electric saws,
peeing on trees.
Building forts and teepees,
Yum-Yum donuts,
and camping cousins.
Wagging tails,
blackberry brandy,
and old fashion games.
Nockamixon baseball,
popsicle sticks and
wooden ornaments.
Homemade apple butter,
spicy chili
drizzled with cheese,
and
hot roast beef gravy dripping down your sleeve.
Mafia cards,
burning logs,
and tomato pie.
Laughter, joy,
tears, fears, jeers,
and loving arms.
Family.
