Locals
Local competition where skaters from a small region compete, often the skaters are in the same skating club.
In Locals, you can qualify for Regionals.
Regionals
Regional competition where skaters compete against other skaters from their region. Regions are specific geographic areas within the country.
In Regionals, you can qualify for Sectionals.
Sectionals
Interregional competition where skaters from several regions compete.
In Sectionals, you can qualify for Nationals.
Nationals
National competition where skaters compete against other skaters from their country.
In Nationals, you can qualify for international competitions.
International Competitions
Skaters represent their country at international competitions f.e. Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, European Figure Skating Championships, World Figure Skating Championships
