A Love so Forbidden

When all you wanted was love but all you get was hatred.
When all you wanted was to love someone but it was one-sided.
When you were waiting for that one message which can make your heart bloom yet the message never came still you waited like a fool
A Love so forbidden yet so tempting

You act like you don't care but I know how much you cared
You act like you are fine but you are just so broken inside
You were like the rose so beautiful yet can make people bleed by its throns
You were like the Moon so ethereal from afar but nearer you have your own scars
But if you called me yours I would love to draw stars around your scars
I would love to touch your throns before the soft petals
I would love to hear your wistful cries but still you are my Forbidden feeling

You are the December to my February heart
You are the cause of my pain
You are the cure of my pain
You are the pain which my heart would gladly suffer
You are the darkness which I would gladly love
Still you are like the Forbidden fruit.
The day you texted me I felt something which I never wanted to feel
The day you said those hurtful words made my heart shattered into pieces.

But still my poor heart can never be able to hate you
As it loved you like the stars loved the sky
My stupid heart loved you too much that it let you go cause you wanted it
Maybe my heart and mind was too blind in love to notice your broken promises and lies
My heart still loves you like the Angels loves the light
My mind still desires you like the demons desires the dark
But at the end of the day your smile matters my love not my aching heart
At the end of the day you mattered my love not my betrayed soul.
