Walker and I were sitting in the living room of my house, sitting on the couch comfortably as we waited for Walker's mom, Heather to come pick us up.

We had been hanging out a lot more since the end of The Adam Project, and Walker had a huge glow up between filming and now.

His baby face is completely gone, and his hair got way more curly. His eyes darkened a bit but were still a really pretty blue. His smile lines were a lot more prominent, having shared a billion laughs between the two of us, and his voice had dropped.

Today was the first time I'd be meeting his mom and family, considering my dad always picked him up and brought him over.

This time we decided to go to Walker's house for the weekend, and hopefully many more after it so we can hang out without my dad asking if we're making out every 5 minutes.

I'm not saying I wouldn't want to, but still.

Yep, I still like Walker. A lot more than I did during filming.

Something about him no longer having that baby face heightened my already growing feelings for him, and his glowup definitely didn't lower them.

We had both been auditioning for more movies and even a few tv shows, but there was one we were especially waiting for.

Disney and Rick Riordan teased the creation of a Percy Jackson tv show, and Walker and I were very interested in it.

But anyways, we heard a honk from outside and Walker stood up, wiping his palms on his pants before holding it out to me and pulling me off the couch.

"Damn. Remember when you needed both hands to pull me up?" I laughed softly with Walker as he grabbed my bag and carried it out to his mom's car, earning an eyeroll from me.

We got in the car and Heather greeted me happily before she started driving, looking back in the mirror at us every once in a while.

While driving, I got on insta to post about the interview Walker and I did the other day.

Walker's mom pulled into the driveway and we all got out of the car. Walker earned another eyeroll from me when he insisted on taking my bag inside and up to his room.

"Leena, Tanner, and Pete won't be home for a few more hours, so I'll call you when they get here." Heather said, smiling from the kitchen.

"Okay." Walker smiled back before starting up the stairs.

"See ya later Mrs. Scobell." I waved before following Walker up the stairs and into his room.

The plan was that I'd be staying at Walker's for a week, which is when the premiere of the Adam Project is, and I'd be going home after.

I had my duffel bag on the foot of Walker's bed and my dad is bringing my dress over in the morning, when my mom gets back from Vegas.

Walker showed me around his house awkwardly, telling me unnecessary details about random stuff, like the dining room and kitchen.

"Walker, stop being awkward." I tell him, putting my hands on his shoulders so he'd face me. "It's not that deep."

"I know. It's just that it's the first time you've been to my house and I don't know why I'm awkward about it I just kinda am." Walker shrugs.

"We need to get out of here." I decide. "When your siblings get home, let's text the groupchat and see who's in town, and we'll go somewhere."

"Sounds great." Walker smiles before we walk back to his room.

I sit on the beanbag in the corner of his room opposite his bed, getting comfy before Walker comes and jumps on me, disturbing my peace.

"Walker Scobell!" I shout, laughing as I try to push him off me.

"Do you have any books with you?" He asks, making me raise an eyebrow.

"I have Lightning Theif." I answer him, grabbing it out of my bag and showing him.

"Read to me?" He asks as he lays his head on my stomach and wraps an arm around me.

"I don't have a choice apparently." I tease, opening the book and starting from the beginning.

"Look. I didn't want to be a half-blood."

Walker and I had fallen asleep on the beanbag while I was reading to him, being awoken when two people came into Walker's room, shouting at each other and waking us up.

"What the hell Leena?" Walker asks in a groggy voice as he leans his head up to look at her.

"It's not my fault, Tanner's being an idiot!" Leena answers, pointing at Tanner.

"I'm not being an idiot! They're clearly dating!" Tanner shouts back, pointing at Walker and I.

I roll my eyes, covering my face with a pillow as I try to fall back asleep.

"You woke us up for this shit?" Walker groans, laying his head back down on my stomach.

"I'm bored. Let's go somewhere!" Tanner says, rather loudly.

"Oh my gods can you stop yelling?" I shout back, making him shut up. "Thank Hades."

"Give us 10 more minutes." Walker sighs, pointing them out the door.

"Whatever. I have to get ready. Where are we going?" Leena asks quietly, careful not to yell.

"Laser tag?" I ask mischievously, looking down at Walker.

"Laser tag." He repeats back to me before laying down again, falling asleep.

"I'm Leena." Leena smiles, talking softly so she doesn't wake Walker back up. "That's Tanner."

"Nice to meet you." I whisper back, one hand playing with Walker's curls absentmindedly.

"So you're not dating?" Tanner asks, his hands on his hips.

"Go away. Give us 10 minutes." I beg, laying my head back on my pillow as I start drifting back off.

Leena laughs softly before ushering Tanner out the door, closing it quietly behind them.

Walker and I get 10 more minutes of sleep before Heather and Pete come in quietly, waking us up to tell us to get ready if we were gonna go to laser tag.
