Statehouse oneshots!

Summary:

Who's a Wyoming? Whats an Iowa? 

Pov: Wyoming

Wyoming just hade gotten through another painful meeting of which half was spent on the rest of the states questioning who the hell he was and the few that knew him pretending they'd never seen him. He subtly flipped off Montana who was trying to avoid eye contact, gosh this happens every time he interacts with the others. Wyoming frowned as he left the room 

A little while later Wyoming walked around the statehouse alone trying to tune out the shouting in the rest of the house until he noticed someone out on the front porch whistling and reading a book so he went out to join them.

Pov: Iowa 

The breeze swept around Iowa calmly as he sat in his rocking chair with his book he heard the porch wood creak so he turned and saw....whats his name...ah! Wyoming! Wyoming standing by the front door "Hello there Wyoming right? I'm Iowa!" Wyoming seemed shocked that someone remembered his name "Oh! Um yeah! Thats me, Iowa ay? Nice to be recognize" Wyoming smiled as he spoke. Iowa smiled back "Yeah! You have that problem to?" He chuckled motioning for Wyoming to sit in the chair next to him, he obliged and sat down and crossed his ankles, Iowa took a deep breath and continued with his book continuing to rock back and forth as the two states sat in a rare silence at the statehouse at least just outside of it. Iowa was glad to have some company. 

Pov: Wyoming 

The only sounds that could be heard were birds, the rocking chairs creaking and well distant Florida-ness which even that seemed more subdued that usual and Wyoming loved it! First a state recognized him and spoke and, was relatively nice! Was it his birthday? It could be. It hade been so long sense he'd celebrated it he'd nearly forgotten! Wyoming cleared hs throat "Do you also get forgotten?" He asked a little embarrassed. Iowa shrugged "Meh, yeah a ton really, i don't mind it, I've gotten used to it" Iowa explained closing his book and facing Wyoming "At meetings do they question of your just pretending to be a state?" Iowa asked "Yeah! And the like two people that do know me act like they don't!" Wyoming said exasperated Iowa looked at him with a 'No way' expression "Same! Minnie is like the single other person that speaks to me besides Gov and thats only like once a month! And Gov only talks to me because he's required to!" Iowa laughed "Yes! Ohio talks to me once in a blue moon to rant about PA ignoring him for longer then 2.5 seconds" Wyoming says rolling his eyes. Iowa laughed louder 'aw his laughs cute' Wyoming thinks fondly as he smiled at Iowa "Geez! Thats sad!" Iowa takes a deep to calm him self down.

They talked a while longer telling different stories about people entirely ignoring or not knowing of there existence, One of Iowas that Wyoming thought was funny was one Iowa told about being forgotten at a campsite on a midwest camping trip. Wyoming enjoyed talking to Iowa and Iowa thought it was nice to have someone talking to him for non-required reasons. Both of them sat on the porch switching between talking and listening to the birds in a calm quiet until eventually Texas flung open the door and stormed outside angrily he was followed by a equally angry California scaring off the birds they were listening to. Wyoming and Iowa shared a glance then they both stood up simultaneously and walked inside and continued there conversation inside in Wyomings room where it was...a bit less peaceful due to the rest of the states making a ruckus but they talked for hours more until Iowa got called for a meeting that was most likely un-needed but he had to go ether way but from this day forward nether of them felt as alone as before, The end
