Chapter 10

Manik's pov

I hate coming into the company headquarters because girls are so stupid and can't fucking see that I am wearing a ring on my ring finger therefore I am either dating someone or married but nope these girls can't seem to put the two and two together.

That isn't the worst part though, it is also the way things don't get done until I am in my cabin screaming over the phone or barking orders at everyone. Cabir does his part but recently like the last 3 weeks I have ben having to come in here every singled which means less time with nandini

Today marks our 6 month anniversary, yes I am psychotic to be even counting and celebrating it in my head. I had initially wanted to stay home today but I couldn't plus nandini literally pushed me out the door when cabir asked me a question about work because she thought she was keeping me away form work

I don't know if she remembers it being our 6 month anniversary because who even celebrates them but I remember so I am getting her a few things to see that beautiful smile on her face.

At first I didn't know how things would be, I also didn't know if nandini and I would ever be more than friends but we flirt a lot, no like actually nandini is a surprise package because she is so innocent but gosh she is also very very firey.

I had just gotten some roses and chocolates, not any chocolate but white chocolates and some chocolate covered strawberries as well since she is a fanatic for them. I was setting them in the backseat when cabir's name displays on my phone

"Hello"

"Manik are you in the office?" He asks

"No, just heading home whats up?"

"Well you won't like this" he says

"What are you talking about?" I ask

"Ahhhh oh my god you are going to kill me ahh nandini get away" he screams

I chuckle a bit hearing him screaming like that.

Nandini and cabir have a very tom and jerry relationship, they are either plotting things against me like putting cold iced packs on my foot when im sleeping because apparently I should wake up when the two of them are up because they get lonely without me which is bullshit since both of them gossip like kids while I work on my laptop

Then there are times they fight like crazy and I have to break it apart by giving them both time out where nandini gets to sit on my right and cabir on my left while they both think of an apology for each other, yes I am dealing with two kids, one of them is my brother and the other is my wife

"Don't tell himmmm he is driving" she screamed even louder

"Both of you call it quits and stop fighting I am 10 minutes away. If I see anything broken or a mess in the living room I am going to kill you both" I mumble

"Shit" I hear them both blurt out before the line goes silent

I know they made a mess, for sure they have.

I drive home and these two idiots left the door unlocked, literally man I have told so many times to have it locked but nope.

the living room was spotless making me chuckle, I lock the doors and walked to up our room placing all the things I got on the couch in our room

"Stop it will you" I hear cabir's voice

Loosening my tie I walked over following his voice

"Ahh stop" nandini screamed

"It doesn't even hurt" he mumbled back to her

The noises were coming from cabir's room which is at the very end of the hall, as I walk to his room I see nandini sitting on the floor and cabir pressing an ice pack to her head
