I was in the varsity locker room with the rest of the cheerleaders stretching and getting ready for the game. I was extremely excited. I couldn't wait to get out there. Ellie and I were fixing our pony tails and helping each other out in the bows that matched the uniform.
"Ellie! Ethan's at the door!" One of our team mates yelled.
"Okay!" She yelled back and ran to the door. Before each game he comes over to the locker room before the game to get a "good luck kiss". It was so cute. I hoped Grayson and I get to being where they are, and that we love each other as much as they do. But still, after a month and a half of going on dates and hanging out we still weren't official. I guess that's how it was going to be.
"Sorry." She said as she ran back to fix my hair.
"It's fine. Don't apologize." I smiled at her. She smiled back.

Once she got the bow in, Mama G called for us and it was time to go. We grabbed our Pom Poms and ran to the entrance. We go out right before the football players. Chloe and I were the most skilled tumblers so whenever we run out, Mama G has us go in front so we can have a big entrance. Right before the doors opened Chloe nudged me and said "don't chock." With a giggle. I leaned over to her and replied "you too." The doors opened and immediately we ran out. We ran out a good ten feet before we did a round off, followed by a back hand spring, and a back flip. The crowd went crazy! The stands were full with students and families, and teachers. I couldn't stop smiling at the excitement. I saw my dad in the crowd and waved at him. His face lit up and he waved back.
"And now ladies and gentlemen, welcome our Titans!" She yelled as the boys ran out, smoke and confetti flew through the air by the door the ran out. Everyone screamed and stood up for them. There was so much hype, my adrenaline was up the whole first half of the game. The boys were doing so well. Ethan and Grayson got a few touchdowns, and Caleb got in a few nice tackles. We were up 56, to 28.

Once half time was called the boys went over to their side of field to get some water and cool off. We kept cheering for a little bit to keep the crowd alive.
"May our homecoming royalty please meet center field." The announcer said. Ellie grabbed my hand and we ran out there to meet the twins. She put us into lines so then when they announced our names we walked from center field down to the side lines to receive a flower. Ethan and Ellie were in the front of the sophomore line, and close was second. She ended up getting paired with Nick since Grayson kept refusing to walk with her. They started to call the names of the freshman royalty and then they started us.
"Ellie Roberts, and Ethan Dolan." The announcer said. They walked down holding each other's hand, received their flowers, got a picture taken and joined the line up of royalty.
"Chloe Foreman, and Nick Andrade." They walked down and did the same thing as Ethan and Ellie but Ethan wasn't there. He left.
"Where's Ethan?" I asked Grayson.
"I don't know." He answered. He grabbed a hold of my hand since we were about to start walking.
"Alexandria Miller, and Grayson Dolan." She said. We walked down and accepted our flower and got our picture taken. As we started to join the others Grayson stopped me. He took the microphone from the announcer and took a deep breathe.
"Grayson wha-" I started.
"Please excuse this interruption. But I have something very important to say." Grayson started.
"Grayson-"
"Alex, I've been putting this off for a long time. But I wanted this to be special because you're special to me. I've really enjoyed getting to know you and hanging out with you for the past month and three and a half weeks. You are the most beautiful, smart, funny, talented girl I have ever met. You're such a beautiful person inside and out, and I can't imagine one more day without you in my life. That's why,"
"Grayson." I didn't know what to expect. My wart started to race and my smile was extremely big, I probably looked like a maniac. Ethan walked up with a bouquet of flowers and handed them to him.
"Alexandria Miller, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. He smiled as he handed me the bouquet. The crowd awed and screamed.
"Yes. Yes Grayson, a thousand times yes!" I jumped and wrapped my arms around his neck, and my toes just barely touched the ground. He wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me super tight. The whole crowd screamed and clapped for us. We walked to the line of royalty and they continued to call the names, and we went back to our spots for the half time show by the marching band. I put my flowers with my dad and ran back to the cheerleaders. Ellie was super excited for me. She kept bouncing up and down and telling me how cute it was. I was so overwhelmed with joy. I couldn't stop smiling.

At the end of the game our boys won! They completely smashed the other team winning 140, to 28! Everyone started hugging and screaming. The cheerleaders ran over to the boys to congratulate them, but I ran straight for Grayson. I jumped into his arms as he twirled me around.
"You did it baby!" I yelled. He kissed me and replied.
"I couldn't have done it without you." We kissed again. I didn't want to stop. My heart was so happy, and full of pure joy thanks to him. Sadly, we had to pull away because everyone was congratulating each other. But I was so happy, and so excited that I wanted to congratulate everyone else. I saw Ethan and ran into a hug.
"Good job!" I yelled.
"Thanks Alex!" He hugged me super tight. "Hey you too."
"What?" I laughed.
"You and Gray? I was so excited when he told me his plan." He explained.
"Yeah? When was this?"
"Two weeks ago." He said. I smiled because he put a lot of thought into it. "Yeah, you make him happy Alex. He wouldn't do this for just anyone. Trust me, I know." I started to blush as Ethan told me that. He really made me feel special.
"I'm glad you told me. And thanks for everything." I hugged him again before I left to look for my brother. Ethan rubbed my shoulder and walked away to find other people.
"Caleb!" I yelled. I ran and hugged my big brother as tight as I could.
"Hey Mrs. Dolan." He teased.
"Oh shut up. I'm surprised you're not kicking his ass yet." I nudged him. He laughed in response.
"No, he knew. He actually asked dad and I if he could do that."
"Really? Wow." I said in shock.
"Yeah, but anyways. I'm not going to the after party so have fun. And be safe. If you need anything call." He said.
"Yes, okay I know." I rolled my eyes. He smiled at me and I pulled him in for one last hug. "I love you. And congratulations."
"I love you too Alex. And thank you." He ran off to the locker rooms with the rest of the team.

We got our things and piled into cars to head our way to Ethan and Grayson's house for the after party.
