I wish you would go to places just because you know I'll be there
and that when I'm not watching, my friends would catch you stare.
Or that when you'd whisper something to that friend of yours it would be "look how pretty she is tonight"
but I just know that that moment will never arrive.
I don't mean to self pity
or to put myself down,
but I just know that my eyes aren't the ones in which you'd like to drown.
And my love for you is so deep
it brings me to say it doesn't matter
but it's I lie, and I know it cause I can feel my heart shatter.
God why did the universe had to bring us together,
if then you don't like me and I'm left crying while I listen to "Heater".
Why can't I live far from this shitty town, somewhere like Berlin.
So I wouldn't be losing sleep over something we've never been.
