Chapter 9: Slytherin Vs Griffindoor

Hermione's Pov:
The audacity of Malfoy to comment on my friendships with the boys, but I couldn't help but actually think over his words, Was he right? Everything was falling around me so hard, Ron and me splitting up even though I knew in the back of my mind that it was for the best, Harry had been snippy a bit with Ginny and me lately not really talking to us either much, what was going on?

I sit in the library thinking over what Ron said and Malfoy, Ron mentioned I'll know after the quidditch game whatever that means, and then Malfoy said there was no way out why were they being so cryptic....only one person I know would tell me and that was Pansy.

I got up out of my seat more determined than ever to find out what was going on so I made a beeline for the courtyard knowing that Pansy sat there to read muggle magazines in private.

I see her leaning on one of the pillars with the magazine looking at all the information as if she was soaking it all up.

"Pansy." I stated

She looked up "Yes Hermione you look...frazzled" she replied noticing my stiff and frizzy hair appearance which meant I was pissed.

"What did Malfoy do now" she asked

"Pansy what happened between all of you" I asked

"What do you mean?" She questioned back

"Something is off completely and it has something to do with Harry, Ron, Malfoy and Blaise" I stated

She pursed her lips as if she was thinking what to say "What do you know Pansy I know that something is going on and you were apart of it" I stated

She sighed.

Ginny's Pov:
"You can do this Ginny it's just one match" I said outloud to myself

"Now I'm talking to myself I think I'm going crazy" I stated

I took a deep breath out than hear a couple of boos behind me, I turn around to see the Slytherins coming in sizing up the competition with smirks on their faces.

"Hey Red" Blaise comes up behind me

A small smile makes its way to my face "Blaise" I replied in acknowledgment

"Good luck today let's see if those training sessions worked" He replied playfully raising a brow

"Well if any of those training sessions" I stated quoting with my fingers than continued "proved anything it's not to do with my skill but yours Blaise" I said with a smirk

"Ok, ok will see" He said with a grin and chuckle

"Blaise....what is it that you needed to tell me" I stated the supposed talk he wanted to have with me it surfacing in my mind

He looked behind him I could tell he glances at Malfoy, Theo, Harry and Ron.

"It was a stupid at the time I felt a guilty after " He stated

"Blaise...." I trailed off furrowing my brows

"Just...listen to me and don't hex me too soon" He said

I nod warily

"Ron and Draco made a bet but I'm partly to blame" he stated

"A bet whats so bad about a bet?" I asked

"This bet was an unbroken vow" He stated my eyes widened

"What?" I gasped out

"Me and Draco-" he struggled to say want he wanted

"Blaise please just tell me" I stated

"I'm just going to show you" I stated opening my mind using legilimency.
