~Y/N's PoV~

The last thing I remember was Dream only milliseconds away from killing the dragon. The whole battle rolled around in my memories as I sat in darkness. Has The Entity escaped? Was this the world it had put us in?

"She'll be alright, right?" Asked a feminine voice. I recognized the voice.

"She will. With proper nutrition, she will regain her strength and be able to leave in no time." Said another voice. I didn't recognize his voice. I tried to open my eyes and was instantly blinded by the sun. I shut them quickly. The people fell silent and I guess they were watching me. I tried a slower attempt at opening my eyes.

I was in a narrow bed with white covers and two people stood on either side. I recognized my mother and a doctor. The doctor was tall with black hair. He wore glasses on his nose "Y/N?" My mother asked.

"Mom?" I asked groggily. The room was still incredibly bright from the sun that was feeding through the window on my right. The floor, walls, and ceiling were all white so it bounced around the light. The recovery room was simple from the simple seats opposite of the bed and a few counters next to the bed. There was a IV dropper in my arm. Tears filled my mother's eyes as she took my hand.

"I'm so glad you're okay sweetie. I was so worried." She said.

"Welcome back Ms. L/N (Last Name). I'm Dr. Ling Can you tell me the last thing you remember?" The doctor asked.

"I was in a video game. Was that all just a dream?" I asked him. My inside churned. Was everything really just my own imagination?

The doctor shook his head, "You and a few others were trapped in an artificial world from an artificial intelligence."

"So where are the others?" I asked him. I felt relief to hear that the others were alive, well, and also real.

"Recovering along with you. We will just give you a few IV's to give you back your strength and then you're free to go home." Dr. Ling said. I rested back into the bed.

"What happened? I don't remember anything since before I was put in the game?" I asked my mom.

"That's what I was going to ask you. Why did you sign up for evil experiments without me knowing?" She asked.

"I just told you. I don't remember." I said a bit dryly. I always had a rocky relationship with my mother as she had an extreme bipolar disease.

She sighed, "Right. Well, you're okay and that's what matters." She sat down on the edge of the bed, "So what was the game like? Who were those boys?"

"You saw them?" I asked her.

She nodded, "They looked sweet. They were stuck in that game with you right?"

"Yeah. It felt like a really long time we were stuck there." I answered.

"You all were stuck there for a very long time. You were gone for over a month!" She exclaimed.

My eyes widened, "It didn't feel that long in the game."

"I was worried sick." She said.

"Well those guys are my friends. We escaped together even if it was challenging." Then I remembered The Entity, "Wait! Did The Entity escape?"

"We shut it down before it could." Said a new voice from the doorway. A tall man and a short woman came into the room, "Hello Y/N. I'm Wilbur and this is my assistant, Nihachu." He had curly brown hair and dark chocolate eyes. Nihachu had salt and pepper hair and warm brown eyes.

"You guys know about The Entity?" I asked them.

Nihachu nodded, "We programmed it. We had no idea that it was going to go rogue. It trapped everyone in the building while it tried to use you and the others to escape."

"What matters is that everyone is alright and The Entity didn't escape." Wilbur said. I studied his face for a moment and then nodded in agreement.

"Care to explain why you created that monstrosity?" My mother asked coldly.

Wilbur sighed, "We simply wanted to change the gaming world. We wanted to improve virtual reality with the help of artificial intelligence. We didn't understand how well we made it."

My mother was about to argue but I cut her off, "I'm just glad we got out and stopped that thing for good and we are all safe."

Wilbur nodded, "We will let you get better. Thank you for your efforts, Y/N." Wilbur and Nihachu left the room.

My mother sighed, "I wish you would be more careful. An artificial intelligence. You could've been killed at any point."

I rolled my eyes. "But I didn't. Dream and I made it out just fine. Maybe a little traumatized, but just fine." I said with memories of the game.

"You seem to be recovering quickly. You may be able to be discharged sooner than we expected. If you'll excuse me, I have to go check on the other patients." Dr. Ling said as he grabbed a clipboard from the counter.

"Wait. Dr. Ling? When can I see the others?" I asked him.

He looked at his watch before answering, "Once you all have recovered enough to get back on your feet. Trust me. They are just as excited to see you. They are waiting for you." He left the room with a smile. I couldn't wait. I stood up with a wobble after ripping the IV out of my arm with a wince.

"Y/N?! What are you doing?!" My mother yelped. I ran out of the room and down a hallway. I ran past nurses and doctors who looked thoroughly confused. I was in a hospital gown but I didn't care.. I came up to a waiting room where four guys were sitting. Two of which looked oddly familiar. They seemed to recognize me.

"Y/N?" They asked. I recognized George and BadBoyHalo. They looked quite a bit like they were in the game. The four of them rushed up to me and Bad took me in a hug.

"Glad you're alright." George said.

"Yeah. This is our first time meeting you realistically too." Said Sapnap. He was shorter than he was in the game and had brown hair.

I giggled, "Oh yeah. I guess so huh?"

Dream didn't look like how he was in the game either. He was still tall and had light brown hair. His eyes were a hazel green. He had a strong jawline. I thought he looked even better than when he was in the game. I blushed at the thought.

"Glad you're alright too." Dream smiled.

"Me too." I grinned.

"Were you supposed to run in here like that?" Dream asked with a smirk.

I chuckled nervously, "Not really. I just wanted to come and see you guys."

Bad giggled, "No Y/N. That's bad."

"Yeah, girl. Go back." Sapnap laughed.

"Okay. Okay. Real names first because I know for a fact, your real names aren't BadBoyHalo or Dream." I said.

Sapnap rolled his eyes, "Nope. It's just Sapnap." George elbowed him in the side, "Fine. It's Nick." Sapnap shot a glare at George.

"Just George." George nodded proudly.

"I'm Dyrrl." Bad said with a friendly smile.

I looked at Dream. "And I'm Clay."

I smiled, "It's a pleasure to meet you guys. I'm Y/N."

"Ms. L/N. we need you to stay on IV! You're weak!" Dr. Ling said while running up to me.

"Welp. Guess that's my cue." I chuckled.

"Wait. Y/N." Clay said a bit more nervously this time. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously but I wasn't expecting what he did next. He leaned down and gave me a quick peck on the lips. I was frozen in utter shock. "Sorry. I should've asked first-" I cut him off by kissing him. It was much more passionate than the one he gave me.

"Nice to meet you too." I giggled when I pulled away. I laughed at his speechless expression and followed Dr. Ling down the hallway back to my room.
