Hey there! I know this chapter is really late but It was very hard to write and I also needed some time to do some school work. I don't really like this chapter so I hope you do though. I've had to rewrite this chapter about three times so that's kinda why it took so long. Art above by flowerbruh on Deviant Art! Enjoy!

"Y/N, Dream, com'ere!" A green-eyed boy yelled behind us. Sapnap was chasing us through the darkness. I couldn't see the other two so I guessed that they must have been collecting materials. Dream must have noticed this too. He stopped and his iron sword appeared in his hand. He spun around and faced the glowing-eyed.

Sapnap was hesitant to attack the blond knowing he was skilled with that weapon. I brought out my sword to help scare Sapnap off by seeing he is outmatched. Sapnap looked between the two and stepped back. "Leave us alone Sapnap!" Dream warned, his iron blade glistening in the moonlight.

"No Bad! I can do this!" Sapnap said like he was talking with Bad but he was nowhere in sight. They must be communicating somehow. Sapnap bit his lower lip, glaring at Dream's sword. We were stranded in the middle of a birch forest. Sounds of monsters echoed around the tree trunks threatening all three of us.

I knew that it wouldn't be a good idea for us to stay on the ground for this long with how much noise we were making. We would be attacked by monsters soon. Sapnap slashed at Dream who almost got a large gash down his chest, luckily he flinched back. Dream recovered quickly and swung at Sapnap. Sapnap blocked the attack with his sword and deflected it. Dream stumbled backward on the uneven ground, trying desperately not to lose his footing.

The sword clatter attracted the mobs. I saw a skeleton aiming for Dream. I jumped out from behind Dream and I cut the bow out of the monster's boney fingers and slashed off its head. Dream was still dueling Sapnap unsure of how to attack the male without hurting him. Sapnap on the other hand had full intentions to kill Dream where he stood, friend or not. I readjusted my sword in my hand and took a swing at Sapnap.

He barely had time to dodge. He rolled away. I was serious now. We needed to escape before the monsters attacked us and we would be bombarded with hostiles, Sapnap included. "Yeah okay..." Sapnap sighed. He must be agreeing with something the others said. He slashed at Dream again before turning and running.

Dream moved away from Sapnap's attack and watched him disappear behind a tree to make sure he didn't come back. "Dream, we have to go. The monsters are moving in." I said tugging at his sleeve.

"Yeah, come on." He put his sword away. I did as well hoping I wouldn't swing it at any more once-friendly faces. We found a larger birch tree than the skinny narrow ones. He pulled himself onto a branch and helped a much shorter me onto it. We climbed on top of the tree as yellow had begun to part a path in the East for the sun to come up.

We waited in the tree for the sun to burn the mobs before climbing down to catch food. We stalked a flock of four sheep, killing all of them. Collectively, we gained six raw mutton and five wool. Dream had gotten a few logs and was now in the dirt collecting the stone underneath.

He moved his mask to the side of his head so he could see what he was doing in the dark. I was tasked with crafting so I got the stone and made furnaces and new tools like two stone axes and pickaxes. I also cooked the mutton. We had made a small camp in the field by a pond so that the others couldn't sneak up on us.

I kept glancing over my shoulder to make sure the other three weren't coming up. Now that they had those compasses that can track people I was extremely paranoid. I peaked down the gap Dream was mining in. "How are you doing down there?" I asked. I wanted to keep moving as it would be harder for them to ambush us.
