Ending notes

Even though this novel was originally completed a year ago, after the full edit of this novel and reposting them all, I've decided to make official ending notes.

This novel is now deemed complete as the epilogue says but as you may have come to notice there are specials afterwards, Those were originally written after the novel got completed with the most recent one being the 2023 Pride month special. Through, there will no longer be any specials as all specials for this novel are already available to read.

Regardless, here are the ending notes.

Wow, I can't believe this novel is completed and even after a year, it makes me so emotional every time I read the end or go through the process of editing this novel.

This novel is my third novel since I published my first novel and it holds a special place in my heart.

For those that did read the author's notes at the beginning, you'll understand what I'll be talking about but for those that didn't, I recommend reading this.

Unlike all the other novels I've done beforehand and after, Our complicated love story was a story I already had in mind and already knew the main plot.

A few years ago way before I was even an author, I started to create the main idea of Our complicated love story, one of my first huge ideas of stories.

So yeah, the main idea was there and even if I didn't publish this novel as my first novel, I still had it in mind to finally write it and make it a novel.

I didn't post it for months as I was too ashamed of this novel and feared others wouldn't like it for reasons such as lack of originality and male pregnancy, the main characteristics of this novel.

Eventually, I got enough courage to post it and I'm glad I did because it started a whole journey and lots of people enjoyed it to my surprise.

Therefore, I know I'm not supposed to have favourites but this novel is by far my favourite and it always will be. If the fact, I wrote specials for a year after it got completed, doesn't prove something, there is a serious problem.

Regardless, I also want to thank you all for all the support and feedback I've gotten. I appreciate it a lot and any form of support remains welcomed.

Speaking of specials, some of you might stop reading this novel at the epilogue but some of you might be interested in the multiple different specials of this novel.

The specials aren't ordinary specials. They mostly focused on never-before-seen parts of the novel I've never shown, a glimpse and moments of the future or past. Some are moments that are mentioned in the novel and the special finally reveals what it actually was like.

One of those specials isn't only one part but is an entire mini love story of one of Theo's and Nathan's sons.

Fun fact, the mini story was originally the continuation of this novel but I didn't add it in the novel as I thought it wouldn't fit this novel's storyline.

Last fun fact, for those that haven't noticed yet, the 2022 Easter special was a glimpse of a future relationship consisting of Theo and Nathan, well That special was an exact spoiler into the future. It represents their real children, Moonlight and the twins, Cayden and Carson. That special is actually when the youngest Nora gets conceived.

For those who precisely want to know what each special is about here are the details.

The 2022 Halloween special

This special focuses on a specific moment in the past when Theo and Nathan were in 6th grade. That is equivalent to 11 and 10 years old.

That special is related to Halloween too.

If you wish to see how those two acted towards one another plus a special dramatic moment that changed their relationship forever, I totally recommend this special!

The 2022 Thanksgiving special

This special focuses also on a specific moment in the past when Nathan and Theo were in 8th grade. This is equivalent to 13 and 12 years old. Unlike the Halloween special, this special is at a time that was explicitly mentioned in the prologue.

This special is not related to Thanksgiving.

I won't say what it is but if you're interested in seeing what Nathan's feelings for Theo were like at that age and another juicy moment that was a turning point in their relationship, then I strongly recommend reading that special!

The 2022 Christmas special

This special focuses on a moment of the future. It's a glimpse into Theo's and Nathan's life after Ch.4.5, so still before the epilogue. You are not obligated to read the entire novel but I recommend doing so as it would be a huge spoiler of the ending of the novel, therefore reading the novel would have lost its value.

This chapter is related to Christmas.

If you're interested in seeing what Theo's and Nathan's little family looks like and reading a cute special, this special is for you!

The 2023 Valentine's Day special

The Valentine's Day special is slightly different as it's a scene from chapter 4.2 that never got added. In short, Theo mentions during chapter 4.2 that he has been seeing Nathan since he met him again and by that, he meant they went out together during that time.

Fun fact as confusing as it is, this special is the part that comes before the Thanksgiving special. As only Tapas readers have access to the Inksoving special, I had to even things up and make a romantic special that comes before the Thanksgiving special.

This chapter is not related to Valentine's Day.

If you're interested in seeing more content of Theo and Nathan especially older them, that's equivalent to 27 and 28 years old, then I recommend this special!

The 2023 Pride Month special

This final special is different as well as it's a direct extra to chapter 4.3 (2/3), so yes you must have read all chapters up to chapter 4.3 (2/3) to read that special. This special is also an extra mature/erotic bonus.

This special is not related to Pride Month.

This special is a bit different as instead of action, there is a poem, which is slam that was written for this novel that is the anniversary and it also teases the new sequel.
