When Dark Shadow got to his house, he pulled both of the bodies out of the car. He placed the woman on his couch and he threw the man in the floor. They were both unconscious as he walked into his basement and grabbed some rope. He tied both of the people up, and threw the man onto the ground. He took the woman in his arms and made his way down the stairs, where he put her in a chair. He threw the man onto the ground and went back down into the basement where the lovely girl was sitting tied up in the chair. As he placed his foot on the ground from the last stair, an ear piercing scream shook his home.
"Well, love, no need to pierce my ears yet. The fun hasn't even started." Dark Shadow smirked.
"You bastard! What do you want? I'll give you all of our money! Just please," she swallowed and blinked back tears several times. She looked back up at him, "Please let us go."
"Now, now. Hasn't anyone ever told you that it's unappealing to beg? Besides, I think I'll rather enjoy having quality time with you and your husband-to-be." She began to cry and scream. When she went to take another breath, he said, "There is no point in screaming, princess. We are miles away from  all civilization, and my basement is soundproof. Now, quieten down or I will make you." He smiled at her. She looked up at him, and her face shown with horror.
"What do you want from us?!" She yelled with a shaky voice. He smirked yet again and made his way from the basement doorframe to the cabinet. He opened the door and began browsing his torture weapons and said, "I can assure you it's nothing personal, my sweet. You and your fiancé just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. My name is, well my given name, is Dark Shadow," there was a gasp, "and you and your fiancé are my next victims." There was a thump up above our heads. "Ah, looks like the other guest of honor has awoken. I shall return with your lover." Dark Shadow turned around and walked up the stairs, ignoring her screams and pleads for him to let her fiancé go and just take her. He walked into the living room to see Thomas flopping around on the ground like a fish out of water.
"Calm it, love. There is no way you can get out of those ropes. I was taught how to tie it good enough so that your prey won't escape." He walked over to him and grabbed the part of his arm that was above the rope. Instinctively, Thomas brought up his leg and tried to kick him, but he easily caught it and bent it at a weird angle. Thomas screamed through the duct tape on his mouth. He sounded muffled. Good. "Now, now. What is it with people these days and their will to survive? Just give in already." Dark Shadow grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and drug him to the stairwell. "Let's go see your sweet little Michelle, shall we dearie?" He took him by the collar again and began dragging him down the stairs. Every 'thump' of the stairs that Thomas hit made Dark Shadow smile. They reached the bottom of the stairs and Dark Shadow pulled Thomas upright so that he was sitting on the last stair. He wanted him to have a perfect view of his woman. Shadow ripped the duct tape off of Thomas' mouth and slapped his face, getting his attention. "Look at her. So innocent. So pure. So...." He whispered into Thomas' ear, "young." He turned his head and spit in Shadow's face, who laughed and wiped it off.
"So she is your Achilles heel. Good. That means you'll have the best time of your life as you watch her suffer."
Thomas screamed.
"There's that scared little boy I was looking for!" Dark Shadow clapped his hands and walked back over to the tool cabinet. "Now, which one to use?" A scream. "The knife? It's a favorite of mine. It is a messy process, but it's worth the mess."
"Razor blades are fun, but they are not my absolute favorite. You can put the blade on their skin, press down, and painstakingly slowly, you slide it upwards. Then you-"
"Stop it, you stupid motherfucker! Let her go. Fuck, take me. Please!" Thomas begged. Shadow ignored him.
"Ooh, my personal favorite. Acid." A cry of anguish came from Michelle. "You see, unlike a knife, acid can dissolve the skin. It makes people into what I imagine. I can make people as grotesque as I want to, all with a single drop. It is messier than all of my toys, but it's the most enjoyable. Well, to me." He said with a laugh and turned to Thomas. "Choose a number, 1-3." "No." He replied to Shadow, who smirked. "Either you choose or I do it for you."
"Tommy, do it!" Michelle screamed. "No. I will figure something out, Elle. Stay calm. We will make it out alive. I love you." "I love you too." Their captor laughed manically. "Oh, the love is in the air!" He clapped his hands excitedly. "Well, since you wouldn't choose...." He trailed off and picked up his syringe. "Acid it is." He said with a wild look in his eyes.

Dark Shadow took what little remains of the bodies he had and placed them into a cooler he found in an alley in the city. He put on his sunglasses, black hoodie, and sneakers. He picked up the cooler and placed it onto a rolling platform, exited his house, and walked out and down the driveway. Strolling down the deserted road, he began humming the theme song from the movie 'Friday The Thirteenth'. It was always his favorite. After a few minutes later, he came across the woods where he kidnapped the lovers from. He found their car and unlocked it using the keys from Thomas' body. He placed the cooler inside the trunk, and made his way to the local beach.
When he got there, he grabbed the cooler and a blanket from the back of their car. He made his way down the path to the beach and scanned the area for a spot on the golden sand. He smiled as he made his way to one. He unfolded the blanket and sat on it, placing the cooler beside him on the ground. He stayed there for about 10 minutes until he got up and left. Without talking to anybody, Dark Shadow silently got up and went back to the road. He left the cooler and blanket in the secluded area beside the trail, then made his way home. He cleaned up his basement and took a shower.
Later that night, he fell asleep to the sound of complete silence.

Samanuel woke up and stretched. He looked at his beside clock. 7 am. He yawned and dialed the NYCPD's number.
"Hello?" He recognized the voice as Jason from the front desk area.
"Hey, Jason. It's Samanuel. I'm not feeling too well today, man. Can I take a sick day?"
"Sure, Detective Johnson. Let me check your comp time." He began clicking away on his computer. "Sir, it says that you haven't used any of your spare days?" Samanuel chuckled but it turned into a cough. A fake one, but a cough nonetheless.
"Yeah, I don't use them unless I feel like complete crap. So I can take today off and rest?" Samanuel said. "Of course! Take your time. We hope you get better." He thanked Jason and hung up the phone.
He slipped out of bed and went to use the bathroom. He then walked into the kitchen and poured Lucky, who was waiting beside her bowl, some breakfast. While she was eating, Samanuel quickly made some breakfast for himself. He ate as Lucky did, and when he finished he put his dishes into the sink. He went into his room and walked into his closet, where he sighed and slid down the wall with his back. Sitting on the ground, Samanuel said a little prayer asking for protection for what he was about to do.
