Self-love

17 6 1

The mirror shows our truest form,
Reflecting all that we adorn.
Yet judgments come from those who scorn,
Prejudice against our shape reborn.

But we must love ourselves in kind,
No matter thin or fat in mind.
For beauty lies in confidence refined,
And we must leave the biases behind.

The mirror is our friend or foe,
But self-love is the truest glow.
Personified by our own ego,
It's time to let the prejudice go.
