Preseason had started for most of the boys on England's team. I hadn't seen them for almost a week since they won their game against North Macedonia. Which was probably a good thing considering I had gotten into a fight with Jesse and was mad at the whole team. Jobe was more to me than a fuck toy or a stupid game or bet. He was actually a good friend of mine, though sometimes I wanted to be more. We talked about every other day. Just casual stuff like how we were doing and how living in Sunderland was so far. I was sitting on the couch with Jack, watching a movie when I got a text from him.

I felt the corner of my lips turn up in a smile. I would finally see Jobe again after a week without seeing him.

" Oooooh," He grinned playfully, looking me up and down as if he didn't recognize me, " I see you Bella!" I couldn't help but laugh at him. " Also i'm sorry about the whole issue with Jesse and the team. I really didn't know that it would make you that upset and uncomfortable. I really am sorry. I love you so much."

He reached over and pulled me into him. His cologne stinging my noise as I rested my head on his chest.

" Thank dude. Honestly i'm over it at this point. There's not really any hard feelings. I love you too Jacky."

" You know maybe you should talk to everyone in the gc? Run over some things?"

" Yeah probably. I'll do that later tonight."

" Alright good."
