Rhea POV:

As the car glided through the streets, a comfortable silence settled between us. I stole glances at Arjun, trying to unravel the enigma that he was. His stoic expression gave nothing away, and I couldn't help but wonder what thoughts were running through his mind.

After a while, Arjun broke the silence. "You know, Rhea, you seem strangely familiar. Have we met before?"

I hesitated for a moment, my mind racing. I didn't want to be the one to remind him of our encounter on the flight, especially if he didn't remember. "Hmm, I'm not sure. It's possible we might have crossed paths at some point, but I can't recall a specific moment."

Arjun nodded, seeming somewhat disappointed. "I guess it's just one of those strange coincidences then. Anyway, how did you end up in the wedding planning business? It's quite a unique career choice."

I chuckled, feeling a sense of ease settling between us. "Well, it all started with my love for celebrations and creating unforgettable moments. I've always been fascinated by the magic of weddings—the joy, the love, and the opportunity to bring people together. So, I decided to turn my passion into a profession and pursued event planning, specializing in weddings. It's been an incredible journey so far."

Arjun listened attentively, his eyes reflecting a mix of curiosity and admiration. "It takes a special kind of person to plan weddings. You have to be detail-oriented, creative, and have a knack for handling all kinds of situations. I admire your dedication to turning dreams into reality."

A blush crept onto my cheeks as his words sank in. "Thank you, Arjun. It's not always easy, but seeing the smiles on the faces of couples and their families makes it all worth it."

What about you? How did you end up in the world of business?"

Arjun's grip on the steering wheel tightened slightly, and a hint of tension crept into his voice. "Business runs in my family. It's something I've been exposed to since I was a child. I took over the reins of my father's company at a young age and worked hard to expand and diversify our ventures."

I sensed a hint of weariness beneath his confident facade, as if his success came at a cost. I wanted to delve deeper, to understand the man behind the business tycoon, but I also respected the boundaries between us.

As we neared my apartment, I felt a sense of disappointment that the ride was coming to an end. "Thank you for the lift, Arjun. I really appreciate it."

He nodded, his gaze lingering on me for a moment. "Take care, Rhea. I'll see you soon."

I stepped out of the car and watched as Arjun's sleek black car disappeared into the night.

As I stepped into our small but cozy living room, the familiar scent of incense filled the air. My dad, Mr. Verma, sat in his favorite armchair, engrossed in the evening news on TV. My mom, Mrs. Verma, sat nearby, meticulously arranging her collection of religious idols.

"Hey, Dad, I'm back!" I called out, hoping to catch his attention. But as usual, he was glued to the television, completely oblivious to my existence.

Mom, on the other hand, looked up and greeted me with a warm smile. "Hey, sweetheart, how was your day?"

"Hey, Mom! It was quite a day," I replied, plopping down on the couch beside her. "You won't believe who I met."

She looked at me, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Oh, do tell! Did you run into a celebrity?"

I chuckled, knowing that my parents were far removed from the world of celebrities and business moguls. "Not exactly a celebrity, Mom. I met this guy named Arjun Dalmia. He's a successful businessman."

My dad finally tore his gaze away from the television and looked at me with mild interest. "Arjun Dalmia? Is he one of those big shots in the corporate world?"

I nodded, realizing that I had to explain a bit more for them to understand. "Yes, Dad. He's quite well-known in the business world. He's a successful entrepreneur and runs his own company."

My mom's eyes widened, her curiosity piqued. "That sounds impressive, Rhea!

Mom patted my hand reassuringly. " Just keep pushing, and I'm sure you'll go very ahead in life."

I couldn't help but smile at their unwavering support. "Thanks, Mom, Dad. Your belief in me means the world."

we finished dinner, Mom insisted on clearing the table, and Dad retreated to his study.

I headed to my room, ready to dream big and chase after my goals.
