Part 3

"Hi my name is lavender" Lavender says as she introduces herself to Savanna that morning as she finds her table that has her name tag on it cause she was a little scared her first day of school

"Hi my name is Savanna" Savanna says shyly cause she was really shy on her first day at her new school

"I see your like me" Lavender says as she looks at Savanna right now cause her and savanna have a lot in common right now they both have something different about them

"How?" Savanna asks cause she was feeling for her name tag right now cause she was blind and she could not see either

"I have a birth defect like you do" Lavender says as she sits across from Savanna cause they were at the same table right now cause that was the special table for kids that were special like they had a birth defect or they were injured somehow and it was just lavender and Savanna at that table right now so it was their table

Savanna was going to feel what lavender had and she had a walker to help her get around the classroom and when they have to leave the classroom too which isn't easy sometimes cause she struggles with the walker when there are other kids in the hallway as well and when the class bully wants to bully her and treat her like garbage which she does not like at all and there are days when she wants to hide under a rock and hide away from the rest of the world cause she is a nuisance to her class and her teachers as well as her parents who do not love her as much as they should so she was hoping that they would not come and get her from school after school was done for the day as well cause she wanted to live in the school for the rest of her life and not have a proper family as well

"You have trouble walking?" Savanna asks her cause she felt her walker which was a different walker then when she felt

"Yes I have spina bifida that stops me from walking like a normal kid" Lavender says when she saw Savanna stick that she had with her to help guide her around the school as well

"I'm blind" Savannah says to her as she sits next to her friend cause they were at the same table and not with the other kids at their table cause the teacher did not include them very much in the daily activities that the kids did which was not very nice as well and the girls didn't understand why they weren't included in the activities their classmates were doing or the lessons either they had to stay at their table and hear the story from their table and not on the carpet either with the other kids, so they felt like outcast right now or a pair of ugly ducklings either cause of how they were getting treated they were going to tell their parents that night at supper on how they got treated at school and hopefully they will talk to the teacher and the principal as well about this type of behavior cause it was uncalled for on so many levels

The girls listened to the story that the teacher was taking on the carpet and they found parts of the story funny or hilarious and the teacher asked them why they found it funny and they told her what parts of the story made them laugh or giggle cause the rest of the class did not laugh at those parts of the story so the teacher was glad that two students loved the story that she was reading to the class

"Okay kids I am going to pass out a permission slip for your parents to sign for a field trip that we are going to take in three weeks so get it back to me as soon as you can" the teacher says after the story was over

The girls were hoping that they would go on the field trip by the looks of it they were going to be going to the county fair to see the animals and maybe ride a ride if they were lucky enough so they were going to try to have it signed that night that way they could go on their girls trip with the class as a whole

(Later)

The girls parents both threw the permission slips away so they could not go on that field trip so they were brainstorming ideas that way they could still go on the trip with the class to the fair of course too and they knew none were going to work and they were going to be staying behind which was going to totally stink cause they wanted to be apart of the field trip and if they had to stay back at the school it was not going to be a happy day at all

(Next day)

"Who has their permission slips?" The teacher asks the class as they came into the classroom that day and the girls were going to try to get another one if they could that way they could still go and hopefully the teacher gives it to them maybe
