“SAKURA! SAVE ME! HELP ME! Y/N WILL KILL ME! SAI WILL HATE ME! UGHH” Ino yelled.
“Your fault.” Sakura calmly replied. “Y/N TOLD ME NOT TO FUCK THIS UP I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.” Ino yelled in frustation again.
“Believe it.” Sakura replied with a straight face.
“DON'T PULL YOUR NARUTO SIDE HERE SAKURA! I'M STRESSED.”
“You should've just told Inora.” “SAKURA PLEASE.” “I'm just speaking facts here,you asked for all of this.” “BUT-” “Calm down. Just tell Sai you didn't want to hurt Inora. If he lectures you let him. Its your fault anyways.” “Okay whatever.” “I wouldn't want to interrupt so bye.” Sakura stood up and left. “Noo don't leave me.” Ino whined. But,too late though.
She waited. What else she could do though.
Ino wondered how'd it happen. Did Sai mistook Inora as Ino? They look almost identical after all. Even though,they're cousins. But like Hinata and Neji,Ino and Inora's fathers were twins too. Inoichi and Shoichi. So that's most likely the reason why Ino and Inora look alike. But what about the bangs? They're different. Did Inora say “What are you talking about,my bangs has always been like this.” ? Is that when Sai found out. Or did Sai behaved like that tha Inora was the first one to realise? Did Sai hate her now? Did he even liked her before? She didn't knew. She desperately wanted to know. And at the same time she didn't.
She's the gossip queen but she'd never want this to become subject of gossip.
She was mostly afraid of Y/N. Not like she hits as hard as Sakura. But at least Sakura would have mercy. Y/N is merciless. And Ino pretty much ruined Y/N's first job in her ‘Cupid Career’. There's no way Y/N would forgive her unless Sai and she start dating.
Speak of the devil,Sai arrived. He looked like how he always looked. With a smile which was obviously fake. Ino shivered.
“Hello Ino,i'm sure you know what you have to do.” Sai said. Ino took a deep breath and began, “Sai,first of,i'm really sorry. I didn't mean to lie to any of you. Yes i wanted you to draw me but it happened that Inora liked you too and asked me if i could set up date of you and her and i really love my baby cousin so i had to! I should've told you that i wouldn't be able to then maybe i'd have avoided this mess but i'm really sorry okay? I just liked you and so did she but she's too precious for me to fight with over a guy so i just gave up!” Ino didn't realise she was rambling,so she continued. “You can hate me now,just go out with my cousin at least! You know she's a nice girl! She probably likes you more than i do. I'm really sorry for lying but don't hurt her because of me!”
Sai never thought he'd ever see the caring-older-cousin side of Ino. And he was seeing it today.
Putting his hands on her shoulders in attempt to calm her,he said,“I don't hate you,but i will not date her.”
Ino's eyes widened. “But why?” She asked.
“I don't want to,i want to date someone else. Besides i alread drew her and gave her the drawing. She'll eventually find someone who loves her back.”
Ino looked down,thinking that her cousin couldn't get the guy she wanted. Neither can she.
“Oh.” Was all Ino could speak.
“Say Ino” Sai began “Do you think the person i want to date will say yes?” “Probably,i mean if the person wants to.” “Then,Ino,Will you date me?” Sai asked. “Yes.” Ino absent mindedly replied. Finally contemplating after minutes. “What?” “Will you date me?”
S.T.U.N.N.E.D. Ino was stunned.
“Earth to Ino? I asked something.” No reply.
“Uhm then i think i should go.” Sai awkwardly said.
“Yes! I will date you.” Ino replied.
Smiling,Sai turned. “You know,i realised now that i liked you too.” He said. “And Inora doesn't mind so.” Ino smiled. She was happy.
She was finally dating the guy she liked and her cousin,who also happened to like him doesn't mind. She knew this gotta be in the cover page of Konoha academy newspaper.
“BREAKING NEWS:THE GOSSIP QUEEN YAMANAKA IS DATING THE NEW HOTTIE ARTS STUDENT”
She chuckled at the thought. How everyone would react considering the incharge of KA newspaper being in the headlines of the newspaper.
“So,uhm. I'm not experienced in dating but,uh do we uh.” Sai didn't know how to word it. But he eventually did. “Do we kiss?” “Yeah.”
Smiling,Sai pecked Ino lips lightly.
“Hehe,your lips are soft,Sai.” Ino said. “Hehe” “Just like rose petals.” “Yeah sure miss botanist.” They chuckled.
Little did they know a certain pink head and a certain h/c head were watching them from distance. Internally squealling.
“EEEEEEK SAKURA DID YOU SEE THAT?” “YES I DID OMG.” “THANK GOD I HAD MY PHONE CAMERA ON DAMN THIS IS GONNA BE NEW HOT TOPIC!!” “EEEEEEEEEEEEEK” “EVEN SASUKE SAID HE'S GONNA ASK YOU OUT TODAY AAAAGH.” “WHAT?” “WHAT?” It was whisper screams,don't worry. They didn't get caught.
Ino was chuckling non stopping-ly.
Maybe she wasn't that disliked the actual cupid after all. And the H/C head cupid loved her alot.
