Kallera Blackheart is a gifted dreamer. Through dreams, she can learn of the past, the present and the future. Through dreams she can receive messages about all manner of things, some ridiculously mundane, others vitally important.
The latest dream she has been granted contains a message for her: there is more magic in the world than she knows. Would she like to learn more of it?
But if she is to embark on this quest of discovery, she must make a sacrifice: give up a year of her life, dedicating the equivalent of a month to each of twelve challenges.
It won't be easy, but surely the rewards outweigh the dangers...
