Part 17: Proposal

I am at Rosa and Victors house that they are fixing up because it was destroyed by the dragon

It has been a few weeks since the battle

Tonight is the night I propose to Mary

We are having dinner tonight

I am sitting next to Mary

Anthea. Have you and Tanner decided what you're gonna do about that god realm of yours? Rosa asked

Well, actually I'm going to take some time off while it heals. Spend some time with the common folk. Learn some about your world, about how, maybe, we can learn from each other. Tanner already showed me around the world. Anthea said and I laughed

I am actually focused on getting a house and the Justice League. I said

Number one sign of wisdom: admitting there's always more to learn. Mary said to Billy and Mary put some food on my plate

I'm coming around to it. Billy said then the doorbell ringed

My uncle came to take the staff and then he left

We went back to eating

I then stood up

Uh, I actually want to say a few things. I said and walked to the other side of Mary

Um, it has been a amazing six years of being apart of this family and being with Mary. We went from high school love, to superhero love, and now god love. Mary you have been by my side for the past six years through everything, through me dying in front of you the first time, us fighting, hangovers, and me dying again. I said and I helped Mary stand up

But now that we are older, I don't want to be just a demi God dating a human. I said and pulled a box out my pocket and I got on one knee and Mary covered her mouth with her hand

I want to be a god married to a human. I said and opened the box and she saw the ring

Mary Bromfield, will you make me the happiest demi God in the universe and marry me? I asked

Yes, yes, yes, I would love to. She said and I put the ring on her finger as her family clapped and we kissed
