Part 8: Bridge

I heard about the bridge about to fall so I am flying in my god form

When I got to the bridge I saw two cars with people inside them about to hit the water

I flew over and caught the cars and I took them to the side of the bridge that wasn't breaking

I saw Mary speeding everyone to safety

Then I started to help try to stop the bridge from falling I went under the bridge and held it up

I used my lightning to put stuff back together

Then when I made sure the bridge wouldn't fall again I put more stuff back together then went to the lair

I saw the whole team sitting down

What the hell, you guys left me out there. I said

You were working very hard. Mary said looking up from her book

I could've used some help putting the bridge back up. I said

You didn't, the bridge is still up and no one died. Billy said

Sure. I said and went over to Mary and I kissed her forehead then laid down next to her and I laid my head in her lap

We all were still in our god forms

I closed my eyes and Mary played with my hair

I slowly fell asleep

Then after a while I woke up to Billy throwing a water bottle at my crotch

I shot up and groaned

Oww! I yelled

Wake up. Billy said

I am gonna kill you, Billy. I said

Then I looked at Eugene who was covered in Nightmare Fuel

Nightmare Fuel, I went in there once. I said and then Mary grabbed my hand and put my hand on her leg while she did her work

Then I looked at my phone

Crap, I'm late for work. I said

Really, your leaving? Billy asked

I got bills to pay since I got kicked out by my foster parents. I said and I kissed Mary quickly and then went out the door

Really, why does he always leave? Billy asked his family

Billy, his foster parents kicked him out so he lives in a apartment and he has to pay rent, and since he wants to get a bigger place for me and him he has to save up money. Mary said

Is that why you also have a job? Darla asked

Like what? Mary asked

We are going to go party and be like people our age, well your age, people my age is dead. I said

You can't get drunk. She said

But you can and I need you to loosen up a little. I said

Then Mary walked over to me

Tanner, come dance with me. Mary said and grabbed my hand

No, I don't dance. I said

Fine, I guess, I will dance with you. I said and got up then I went to dance with her
