Jataro finishes his chores faster than everyone else and just wanders around after he finishes. When he goes over to Nagisa (who cleans their plates) he steals a freshly cleaned plate and throws a bunch of food on it. This is before they switched. He never fully did them, as he was scared of his reflection.
