And just then my gaze fall outside the window and saw that creepy old witch sitting on a tree branch outside the house. Her white straight long heir is flying making that creepy face with lots of cracks display. I looked at Y/n who's still looking at the doll confusingly. I quickly hugged her and hide her face in my chest. I don't want her to witness this creepy face I know she'll get scared if she sees this witch
Y/n : Taehyung w-what happened?
Taehyung : Nothing baby just stay like this.
I saw that witch climbing down the tree like a lizard and moved from my eyes sight. I sign in relief thinking it's gone but the next moment it showed up on our window frame. I hugged Y/n more tightly.
Adrina : Mother Lily...
She run towards the window. So I was right this bloody witch is Lily. The scene of this witch when it killed my son flashes my mind. My blood boiled and I turned my hand into fist
Y/n : L-Lily?
Y/n was about to break the hug but I didn't let her. I know she can't bear the scene in front her cause that witch is eating a kitten sitting on the window. I felt disgust and I close my eyes as well not able to see the scene in front. I can hear bone munching sound
Y/n : Tae-Taehyung what is happening here?
Lily : I'm eating a baby Y/n wanna try? it's delicious
I heard Y/n's gasp her grip on my shirt tighten. I could feel she's trembling.
Taehyung : Y/n love it's nothing like this she's lying

Author's Pov
He said to calm Y/n down. Lily threw the eaten baby outside the window and wiped her mouth. She started walking towards them. Lily hold the blanket and started pulling it slowly from them making Y/n shiver. Taehyung hold the blanket tightly
Adrina : Mother I want to play.
Lily : As my daughter wishes.
Suddenly Taehyung felt something moving inside the blanket
Y/n : Taehyung what's m-moving.
Tae look down and saw the bed is full of scorpions. He quickly made Y/n sit on his lap and covered her. The scorpions started biting Taehyung making his leg bleed. Still he endure it cause he doesn't want Y/n to get scared more.
Lily : Y/n don't want to meet your friend. Come on look at me.
Y/n was about to turn her head but Taehyung hold her head
Taehyung : Y/n don't look
Lily and Adrina started laughing making Y/n tremble
Taehyung : Don't listen to them okay baby try to sleep
He started rocking Y/n in his arms. Lily noticed something and she stopped laughing and her expression turned into angry one.
Lily : How did you locked get a crack? Adrina : Daddy throw me outside the window everyday and one day it got hit by a rock and it get cracked
Lily looked at Taehyung angrily.
Lily : I'll kill you just let your wife give birth
Whole night Taehyung keep saying comfortable words to Y/n. Lily vanished after sunrise.
Taehyung : Look Y/n is morning she's gone.
Y/n slowly broke the hug and looked at the shining sun though the window.
Taehyung : I invited Mr Jeon, Dr Park my boss and his wife at launch and Mr Jeon is going to challenge you again on a video game so I think you should take a nap till then.
After making Y/n sleep Taehyung throw the doll out of window and sleep as well. He throw the doll everyday out of the window. He know it won't work but it gives him relief.

People's laughing sounds are echoing around the whole cottage. Jin and his wife is cooking a special dish. Y/n and Jungkook is paying video games and Jimin is charing Y/n. Taehyung decided to visit the library. He slowly got up from the couch but Y/n noticed him
Y/n : Where are you going?
Taehyung : To the library *he told her truth this time*
Y/n : Okay take care.

Taehyung was again searching some clue in the books when the old librarian come and sit beside him.
Librarian : Hello I'm Martha but you can call me granny young man.
Taehyung look up from the book and smile at granny
Taehyung : Hello granny I'm Taehyung.
Granny : Taehyung my child I saw you everyday reading books that written about witches is this your hobby or you're in some kind of trouble?
Taehyung look at Martha and she gives him a smile. The smile was soft and genuine. Taehyung decided to share his problem with Martha maybe she could help him about anything
After hearing everything Martha looked at Taehyung and spoke
Martha : A doll right?..wait for a moment.
She got up and went towards a room behind the library. After sometimes she come back with a very old book.
Martha : I think this book can help you
She said placing the book in front of him
Martha : The book says in 1650 new born babies started dying on the night they born, in a particular area. Mothers become afraid to even give birth to their child. Parents did a lots of things to save their child but everything went vain. They tried to find the reason why the newborns were dying but they failed. And on that critical situation a lady gives birth to a daughter. The village people were sad cause they knew that baby will also die soon but to their surprise it didn't. The baby was alive and healthy. Village people started wondering how did this thing happened? They thought maybe this child was lucky.
One night the father of that baby woke up because his daughter was crying. He look for his wife but she was no where in the house. He walk outside their house looking for his wife and he saw something unbelievable. He saw his wife killing their neighbours baby who just born that day. He went towards his wife and caught her red handed. He got to know that his wife is the one who's killing the innocent newborns to keep herself young. He was beyond shock knowing that his wife is a witch and not even that his daughter is also a half witch. The man called the villagers and locked her in a room. But who can lock a witch inside a room she run away with her daughter but the villagers caught her and burn the witch and her daughter alive.
Taehyung : So you mean I need to brunt that witch
Martha : I don't think it would work. Everyone thought that she's dead as no new born dies after that but the man who write this book I mean the husband of that witch said a mere fire can't kill a witch. The witch didn't die nothing happened to her but the body of that baby fully burnt as she was half human so that witch put her daughters soul into a wooden doll.
Taehyung : Oh do you think the witch about whom the book is written is the same witch that is behind us
Martha : You know that witches didn't die like a normal human someone had to kill them in a spacial way maybe that witch is also alive
Taehyung : Thank you so much for your help granny
Martha : I'll pray so that you can win against that witch
Taehyung's Pov
Granny patted my head and went towards her table. I decided to read this book.
After sometimes I found something important. The book says the witch didn't directly put her daughter's soul inside that wooden doll It's inserted into it through something.
I checked the time and decided to go back home.

I saw everyone was having launch but I didn't saw Y/n anywhere. Dr Park noticed me first
Dr Park : Oh Mr Kim you came Y/n is in her room she said she'll eat with you
Wait did he just called my wife Y/n instead of Mrs Kim? I'll deal with this doctor later right now I need to make Y/n eat launch it's not good for her to stay hungry in this condition why does this girl don't understand

Y/n's Pov
After telling the guys that I'll eat launch with Taehyung I come to our room as I'm not feeling well. My stomach is hurting a little. I carefully sit on my bed.
Adrina : Having fun without me mommy?
I flinch and looked at the doll. She jumped on my lap making my tummy hurt more. I yelp in pain holding my belly
Adrina : Make me sleep mommy
I started rocking the doll in my arms ignoring my pain. After sometimes my husband walked in with annoyed expression on his face
Taehyung : Y/n how many times I have to tell you to eat your food at time
Y/n : I just wanted to eat with you *pout*
Taehyung : Okay then let's go now
He walk towards me and harshly take the doll from my lap before throwing it on the corner of the bed
I gasp but he seems unbothered. Taehyung wrapped his arm around my shoulder and carefully take me downstairs.

At night
Everybody went back to their home after dinner. Me and Taehyung come inside our room. Taehyung made me lay down on the bed. My tummy is still hurting but I didn't say this to Taehyung he'll be worry. Maybe it will go if I sleep. I close my eyes trying to sleep. I felt Taehyung's hand on my head he's caressing my heir. I smile and don't know when fall asleep.

Taehyung's Pov
I keep staring at Y/n sleeping face. She's looking so tired and weak. She got dark circles under her eyes she's looking pale. Every woman should stay happy and healthy in pregnancy but my Y/n couldn't because of that stupid doll. She go through a lot in this condition. I slowly got up from the bed and walked towards the window where that doll was sitting
Taehyung : Why me and my wife? Why our baby? There are lot's of people in this world
The doll trun her head towards me and spoke
Adrina : Remember your second honeymoon daddy *I looked at her confusingly* Mommy got lost in a forest after you misunderstood her
Taehyung : How d-did you know that? *She laughed at my question*
Adrina : I know everything. You and mommy took shelter in an abandoned hut in the forest remember? *I nodded* that was not an ordinary hut it was a cage for me and my mother. My father captived us in that hut so that we couldn't harm any human being.
I widen my eyes as I remember how we heard a loud scream after I open the lock. I also saw an creepy old lady there. So it was lily
Adrina : After my body got burnt mother put me inside a wooden doll. I live two hundred years inside that wooden doll and then she put me inside this doll.
Taehyung : Is that mean-
Adrina : Yes I'm that witches daughter about whom the librarian told you.
Taehyung : But why are you behind us.
Adrina : I can't live inside any human body. I have to choose a baby and she must have to be a girl cause I'm a girl and when you freed us you became our target
Taehyung : There are lot's of baby girls who born in this world every day why are you behind my child only?
Adrina : Cause you and momma are special. Did you know me and mother wait for four hundred years for you and mommy? And do you know why my mother killed your first child
I frown as I remember that again. How dare she I'll kill that with my bare hands. She snatch our Aaron from us
Adrina : Because that was a boy and I can't went into a boy. So she decided to ki-
I angrily throw that doll out from the window. I punched the wall making bruises in my knuckles. What was my innocent sons
fault Why they killed thank little soul? I failed to protect my child. I'm a worst father. My eyes turn red as my heart is crying but
tears isn't coming from my eyes cause I need to stay strong.
I look behind and saw Y/n was struggling in her sleep. Suddenly she wake up holding her stomach. Y/n looked at me with teary eyes and spoke
Y/n : Tae-Taehyung it's.... h-hurting. I think the b-baby is..... coming
