"I know you're somewhere out there, somewhere far away" I sang quietly as I laid in bed, in a very awkward position might I add, menstrual cramps are BITCH, oouu I wanna beat Eve's stupid ass

"I know you're somewhere out there, somewhere far away" I sang quietly as I laid in bed, in a very awkward position might I add, menstrual cramps are BITCH, oouu I wanna beat Eve's stupid ass.

At least you're not pregnant

I sighed at the thought, I am grateful for that fact. I'm relieved actually, I would be a single mother if I was placed in that unfortunate position because as of 6 months ago my ex and I went our separate ways unbeknownst to me.

lol can believe dat? Haffi tek bad ting mek joke.

nigga just went ghost, that hurt me I'm not gonna lie but it's whatever at this point, we were no longer in love...if we ever were to begin with.

Kmt why am I even dwelling on this? I'm over it.
I shook those thoughts away and got back to my own little rendition of one of my favorite songs by Bruno Mars

"Talking to the mooooooon tryna get to yooouuu-"  my singing was suddenly interrupted by the annoying sound of my ringtone, I sighed looking at the caller id and hesitantly answered

"Hel-"

"Miss girl, look how long mi a call yuh likkle gyal, wah yuh have phone fah?"
came the voice of my best friend. I sighed again before replying

"Kris please don't start"

"Nuh tell mi bout don't start, it's been long enough, time fi get up and start live yuh life again"

I sighed, she's right.

"You're a bad bitch, period. Now act like one, get the fuck up and let's go do sumn, we can go shopping, get our nails done and then grab sumn fi eat, sound good?" She stated in a tone that told me she was serious.

"Yes mummy" I joked

She chuckled at that

"I'll be ready in an hour" I gave in

"Not like you had much of a choice any way" she laughed

"Lol ok whatever, I'll call you when I'm ready"

"Aiite"

With that we hung up and I got up to get ready.

An hour later I was almost ready I just had to finish my make up, it wasn't anything much just a natural beat. Gotta admit I look good, it had been a while since I got all dressed up.
