Eridan and Karkat used to be matesprites but Eridan broke it off when Karkat confessed about his blood color and also because he'd started to flush for Feferi. He tried to get back together with Karkat later after he killed Feferi but Karkat hated him at this point because of the fact that he ditched him and because he was disgusted at what Eridan had become.
