sabrina hendricks transferred to rosewood high the year before alison dilaurentis disappeared. much like everyone else in the previously sleepy town, sabrina felt like alison would not be missed and it was even better that her menacing friend group seemed to have been tore apart in the process. what she didn't realise was that someone hated her far more and wouldn't stop until they had gotten their revenge.
spencer hastings is rosewoods picture perfect girl. straight a's, perfect student and field hockey player and a seemingly perfect daughter. but she has her own secrets, secrets that the whole of rosewood could find out. although sabrina finds alison and her posse to be incredibly cliché, part of her can't help but wonder whether spencer is different from the rest of them.
when sabrina realises she may have judged alison's friends too harshly, she finds herself entangled in their secrets and lies. and she begins to see just how messed up the girls truly are and how late it may be for her to escape unscathed once feelings start to develop.
