(Y/n) sat at the cafe, tapping her foot impatiently as she waited for Shuichi. He was late, an hour and a half, late and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy as she remembered seeing him leave school with the same blue-haired girl, again. She knew that Shuichi was popular with the ladies, but it didn't stop her from feeling a little bit possessive.

She had no right getting possessive over him he was just a senior, friendly towards everyone and a little bit more towards her.

Finally, Shuichi arrived, apologizing for being late. "I'm sorry. I got held up with some things," he said, taking a seat across from her.

(Y/n) couldn't help but notice that he looked a little flustered, and she wondered if it had something to do with the blue-haired girl. "It's all right," she replied, giving him a half-hearted smile, still feeling a little upset about seeing him with another girl.

"So, Minamino-san, how many girls asked for your number today?" (Y/n) asked, a sly grin on her face.

Shuichi rolled his eyes, knowing that (Y/n) was just trying to get a rise out of him. "I lost count," he replied, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

(Y/n) laughed, feeling a sense of relief at the playful banter between them. She knew that Shuichi wasn't interested in those girls, but it didn't stop her from feeling a little jealous.

"Well, I hope you told them all that you're taken," (Y/n) said, raising an eyebrow.

Kurama smiled at her, feeling a surge of warmth in his heart. He knew that (Y/n) was just teasing him, but he couldn't help but feel a little hopeful.

"Actually, I did," Shuichi said, his eyes locked on hers. "I told them that I'm taken by the most amazing girl in the world."

(Y/n) blushed at Shuichi's words, feeling a mix of emotions. Who was he refering to? That Blue haired girl?

"Well, you better not be lying," (Y/n) replied, a playful glint in her eyes.

Shuichi chuckled, feeling a sense of relief at the playful banter between them. He knew that he wanted to be with (Y/n), but he also knew that he didn't want to rush things or make things awkward between them.

Shuichi ordered a coffee, his green eyes glinting thoughtfully.

"So, what's the occasion?" he asked, tilting his head towards her.

(Y/n) shrugged, sipping her hot chocolate.

"Just wanted to hang out with you," she said, a smile curling her lips.

"Thought we could catch up."

Shuichi chuckled, a light blush creeping up his cheeks. His hair brushed against his face, and he pushed it back thoughtfully.

"I'm flattered you would take the time," he said, his voice gentle.

(Y/n)'s heart stirred with warmth, but she pushed it away, teasingly. "Don't be," she said, winking at him. "I just wanted to catch up on all the other girls you've been wining and dining lately."

Shuichi raised an eyebrow, but the corners of his lips quirked in a smile. "I assure you, (Y/N)- chan, there hasn't been anyone else," he said, his voice low and warm. "You have my full attention."

(Y/n) felt her cheeks flush, "You're so smooth, Senpai" she said, a hint of playfulness in her voice.

Shuichi chuckled, "I learn from the best," he said. "After all, who knows more about being smooth than the one sitting in front of me?"

(Y/n) rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smile. With Shuichi, there was never a dull moment.

" (Y/n)-chan" he said, his voice low and teasing. "Any new gossip you've heard lately?"

(Y/n) raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing in mock suspicion. "Why, Shuichi-san" she said, her tone sly. "Are you trying to get the dirt on your other admirers?"

Shuichi shook his head, a smile playing at the corner of his lips. "I just like to stay up-to-date on the latest rumours," he said, his voice light. "You never know when they might come in handy."

(Y/N) chuckled, the sound like wind chimes. "Well, in that case, I did hear a little something about you and that girl with blue hair," she said, her eyes glinting with mischief.

Shuichi felt a trickle of unease snake through him, but he tried to keep his expression neutral. "And what did you hear?" he asked, his voice steady.

(Y/N) leaned forward, her voice low and conspiratorial. "That you two were getting awfully cosy after school," she said, her smile widening. "I wonder what your other admirers would say about that."

Shuichi felt a flush rise to his cheeks, but he refused to let (Y/N) see him sweat. "I can assure you, (Y/N)" he said, his tone measured. "That I have no interest in anyone other than you."

(Y/N) felt a flutter of warmth stir in her chest, but she tried to hide it with a playful scoff. "Oh please," she said, her eyes dancing with amusement. "not buying that"

"So who was she?" (Y/n) asked casually, trying to mask the resentment in her voice.

Shuichi hesitated for a moment, clearly taken off guard by (Y/n) sudden question. "Oh, just an old friend" he said finally, his eyes flickering over to her. "She needed some help."

(Y/n) nodded, still feeling a little hurt despite Shuichi's explanation. She knew she didn't have any right to be jealous - after all, they were just friends - but it still stung to see him with someone else.

Shuichi took a sip of his coffee, relishing the earthy flavour. Shuichi felt a jolt of electricity surge through him, but he tried to push the feeling away. He and (Y/n) had always had undeniable chemistry, but he wasn't sure if he was ready to acknowledge those feelings just yet.

"So, how's school been treating you?" he asked, shifting the conversation to more neutral ground.

(Y/n) rolled her eyes, but a smile lingered on her lips. "Same old, same old," she said. "Trying to keep up with all the homework and tests. You know how it is."

Shuichi  nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of ease settle over them. They may not be lovers, but (Y/n) was one of the few people he felt truly comfortable around. They had a special bond that he didn't share with anyone else, and as they sat in the cafe, laughing and teasing each other, he couldn't help but feel grateful for that connection.

As they continued to talk, the tension between them grew stronger, their attraction to each other undeniable. But they both knew that they needed to take things slow and be patient.

Finally, as the night came to an end, Kurama walked (Y/n) back to her dorm, feeling a sense of longing. He knew that he wanted to be with her, but he also knew that he needed to respect her wishes and take things slow.

(Y/n), on the other hand, walked away feeling a mix of emotions. She knew that her feelings for Shuichi were strong, but she also didn't want to lose him.
