Chapter 2: Monsters ( Doors 30-50)

Ruby slowly backed away from the monster in front of her. next thing she knew, she was running away from it. she wound up in a long hallway with several drawers and a closet. when she reached the end of the hallway, she stopped in her tracks and turned around. a monster that looked like it was made of some sort of goo rose up from the ground. terrified, she ran until her little body could not take it anymore. she was so tired she just flopped to the ground. eventually, she fell asleep. around 3 hours later, she woke up in a bed. the 2 monsters she'd seen earlier were also in the room. she pulled the covers over her head in an attempt to hide herself. there was movement. suddenly, someone or something pulled the blanket away. Ruby slowly opened her eyes, only to see the monsters from earlier.  "its okay, we don't want to hurt you." one of the monsters said. "y-you don't?" Ruby asks, still afraid. "how can I trust you?"  the monsters look at each other.  "That's a good question" the first monster said.
