I was in a high school, it looked familiar, and a tall, short haired brunette came running at me. "Sophie!" She exclaimed, her green eyes blazing with excitement. She looked familiar as well, but I couldn't quite figure out from where. I could feel the memory buzzing around, just out of reach. I yelled out in frustration. Who was this human and what did she want with me? "Sophie?" The girl slowed down. "Don't you remember me?" Suddenly, the girl morphed into the person of my nightmares. Their voice was sickening and chilled me to the core. "I'll get out soon. And when I do, I'll make sure your sister finds out first." Gethen flickered away before I could react.

"Sophie?" The voice of my adopted mother lured me out of the nightmare. "Are you okay, sweetheart?" "Yes, Mom. Just a bad dream." In an instant, Edaline was by my bed, handing me some custard bursts. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. She waited a couple minutes before I responded. "I can't believe that works, I'm not even a dinosaur." We both laughed, remembering the times when everyone was fighting for their lives against the Neverseen. The fighting itself wasn't the funny part, but now everyone was safe, and I can try to be a normal 16 year old. "I just had a bad dream, that's all," I explained to her with a sigh. Edaline gave me a sad smile and look like she was about to say something when someone interrupted her.

"Sooophiiie!" A playful voice rang from downstairs. I paled a little and Edaline gave me a sympathetic smile. "I nearly forgot the reason I came up here!" She exclaimed. "How you forget to tell me about sparkling, fifteen pounds of pink fabric is beyond my comprehension." I complained, but got up and dressed nonetheless. When I got downstairs safely (without tripping), I braced myself for an ear shattering squeal. Just as I suspected, Biana's voice nearly broke my ears. "SOPHIE!!" she exclaimed. "Biana, why are you here so early?" I wondered, very annoyed. "Sophie, we have defeated the Neverseen and haven't even celebrated!" She explained. I paled even more, my mind fearfully imagining me in the tallest heels and widest dress ever invented. "So we're doing a sleepover!" Biana finished. I blew out a breath I hadn't known I had been holding.

"Sure," I agreed. "Let me check with Grady and Edaline first." I quickly went outside where Grady was trying to feed Verdi her breakfast. "Hey, Dad!" I yelled and he came over and wrapped me in a bear hug. "Hey, Kiddo, what are you doing up so early?" He asked. "Biana invited me to a sleepover at Everglen, can I go?" I explained. "Is that boy going to be there?" He wonder hesitantly, going into overprotective dad mode. "I think so," I told him, acting oblivious. "Why?" Grady finally relented. "All right, you can go. And thank you for asking permission first, I really appreciate it." "Thanks, Dad! And of course I would ask permission first." With that end note, I let Grady get back to work and went back into the house.

"Grady said that I can go!" I exclaimed, very excited. Biana squealed again. "YES! I thought he would! I'm going to invite everybody!" She instantly did just that. Fitz was invited too. Apparently he hadn't even known what Biana was planning. Fitz was extremely reluctant to accept as well as Keefe, which was very surprising to me, but eventually, he agreed. I got really excited and started packing my bag and agreed to meet everyone at one. I had never been to a sleepover before and was supper siked (A/N: sorry, I had to replace "excited"). What could go wrong?

A/N: Hi guys, thanks for staying with me. To those of you who read my book before I rewrote it, let's just all agree that this one is waaaaay better. Again, thanks y'all for staying with me. I might post every week, maybe a month. It will never be longer than that between posts, but it may be shorter sometimes. If it is longer, just assume that my life is really busy at the moment (which it is a lot).
Doei, my sweets.
Love you!

Hey y'all! Good to see you're still reading. I'm gonna have to say, I think my Wattpad career is kaput seeing as I can't finish anything for the life of me. However, if I get bored or anything, I'll probably edit my stuff.
