Dark Brown Eyes

To my dear friend...I don't know where you are, or how you've been, but I think about you all the time. And I miss you so much.

Life starts, dark brown eyes.

So happy, dreadful lie.

Cut up, sharp thin knife.

Not flesh, you are life.

One fake smile, hours of tears.

Hidden feelings, how many years?

Dark secrets, grotesque fears.

New beginning, end is near.

Always laughing, slowly dying.

Please oh please keep on trying.

If you don't, I'll be crying.

One more cut, you'll be flying.

Bathroom sink, mirror shattered.

Swollen eyes, arms battered.

Cold floor, angels gather.

Can't you see that you matter?

Oh God, please don't take her.

She's so young, she is so pure.

You're so mighty, give me the cure!

Please oh please, don't You take her.

Run out, curse at the clouds.

Is this what you want, are you happy now?

Shallow breaths, does that make you proud?

Soiled heart, fall to the ground.

Forget her, take me instead!

Transfer the pain, take on the dread.

Raging thoughts, level head.

Beautiful girl, wished she was dead.

No hesitation, cars fly by.

Seconds away, an angel guides.

Look on the ground, see the sky.

And light brown eyes, just like mine.

Second floor, room 302.

Hours pass, hearts a blue.

Falling asleep, looked at you.

Won't give up, see you soon.

Life starts, weary nights.

Hurt hearts, heavy sighs.

Pale skin, diminished light.

Warm hands, dark brown eyes.
