kisses

Stain my skin with the touch of your lips,

let me feel your gentle kisses trail along my collarbone,

across the vast network of veins that my body wields,

and a heart that beats for you,

the blood rushing through me causing a sensation

that makes my cheeks warm,

and my reflections filled with you.

Kiss my thoughts,

that I may recall a memory,

and you be vividly painted across my mind,

a blank canvas to hold all your glory,

so I can admire colors I have never seen before,

deep hues of red come to mind when I think of you.

Kiss my heart,

allow the very thing that lives for you

to know your touch,

your breath,

your scent,

the fragile hands that hold it.

You make me weak in my knees,

to the point, I feel I must fall to your feet,

to worship you,

it feels so wrong,

but it feels so right.

I wouldn't change you for the world,

because you are my world.
