April 30th, of 2010:

I remember when my friend got some Copy of Pokemon Red, titled: "Pokemon Strangled Red." Everyone called him some crazy ass man because of this, but me being intrigued i listened to what he said, and he gave me the cartridge for me to investigate... Though nothing really exciting happened, all it was? Just a cliche hacked game. How'd i know? I was actually working on the English version of the original games a while back, but may i say it was actually pretty good! The story line was detailed out neatly, the atmosphere for it was great... But something caught my attention during my time looking at the files. I would hear faint laughing when the lavender town theme played, laughing of a girl. It was very pixelated and 8-bit sounding, but clearly i could hear it.

What's funny is that when i was looking through e-bay for a copy of the strangled red game, i noticed a game titled: "Pokemon Purple." It was a cartridge seemingly to be a knock off copy of the original red and blue games, in such i bought it. It's been a while since I've bought it, but i think playing it will draw my time away from all the strangled red business.

April 31st, of 2010:

Today i decided to play Pokemon Purple, it's actually pretty good so far! Here's how it went...

After finishing up my regular schedule, i decided to pop in the bright purple cartridge into the Gameboy color i owned, as i watched cutscenes play. It was just your average pokemon knockoff. This time i was playing as a female character, I named my female character "Green" my Rival "Blue" and so forth. But something caught my interest, Red and who i suppose is Purple pop up, professor Oak explained how their my rivals... Blah blah blah and how apparently their siblings. Purple had short... White hair. A magenta beanie, a cream colored blazer, black turtle neck, royal purple bell bottoms and a nice pair of red sneakers. Her pose was pretty unique like her character, she had a smug smirk on her face, one leg crossing the other as she seemed to lean back, one hand in her pocket, the other holding a PokeBall . It's funny how she looks nothing like red, but i didn't really care. Then the professor spoke:

*Well then Purple, your adventure starts now... Good luck exploring the amazing world of Pokemon!

Oh, so i WAS playing as purple huh? No wonder why when i was choosing a character as the protagonist it never used that iconic, "what's your name?" Or "are you a boy? Or a girl?" Type line. The game boots up, as I'm playing as Purple, her little character looks insanely dorky, i love it. I noticed that there are two rooms in the upstair section, in such i check inside, lone and behold it's red! I click on him, to see what he says, as a text bubble pops up:

*Hey sis! You're finally going out on your adventure right? I can't wait to start mine! I promise you, I'll become a pokemon master!

Seems like this also takes place a year before FireRed, it's pretty cute how an animation played, as Purple ruffles Reds hair up.

*I'll miss you ya little rascal! Take care of mom for me will you?

And with that the small cutscene ended, showing that it's time to go downstairs, no special dialogue for the mom, in such i walk outside. I then noticed three characters walk up to me, dialogue playing again.

*Purple! There you are! Did you read the messages we sent you?

YES
>NO

*What!? Jeez you're really forgetful, we reminded you a bunch of times you know? Right Mike!?

*Don't be rude Steven! And don't pressure Mike. Anyways we'll see you at the professors lab, don't be late!

I take notice that one character who looks like red but with longer hair jumps around a few times when talking. The other character looking like Blue but with more fluffy hair just shakes a bit when talking, who i suppose is "Mike." The female character right next to the red character turns to look at them, who i suppose is "Steven." The small cutscene ended, leaving me to explore some more, i check blues house, him also talking about being a pokemaster, but he also mentioned how his elder sister "Daisy" was currently dating Steven, in Wich Purple responded with:
