' training day '

ITS THE MORNING for the White's as Aurora enters after doing her morning workout, Margo is setting the table full of fruit and pancakes for breakfast as Mark left after he dropped his daughter off back home

"Breakfasts on the table, I need to get ready for a meeting but good luck at your first practice honey," She kisses her daughter cheek and runs to her room to join some sort of ritual meeting as Aurora sits at the table

She picks some different fruits and puts them into a bowl before going up to her room, she gets on her phone liking some of her friends posts before setting it down and looking out the window to see a group of Anchor Cover kids walking around

"Griff?" Last night her mind totally forgot he was a Board Rider, and even though Poppy made them seem so bad. Griff didn't mention anything about ether surfing club. She smiles as she thinks why he would do that

After that she grabs her computer from her bag and began to do some classes, from being so involved in sports Aurora does homeschool which plays into the summer with some courses but she doesn't mind all that much

It makes her feel productive, after about an hour or so it's time for her to get ready to train for the first time with her new club. In the past she's been apart of all different kinds of surfing clubs but none that were like a family

Some gave you schedules of lessons and then put you into different tournaments, or some just put you in comps and gave you a place to train. Coming into Shorehaven they wanted to allow their daughter to have friends

Mark and Margo both had a conversation before they left that their daughter hasn't been a real teenager she hasn't went to parties, she hasn't had a sleepover, and she just hasn't had anytime to make mistakes like a normal kid

But that aside Aurora is excited for her new club, she throws on a swimsuit and covers up with one of her dads old shirts. She goes to the bathroom and braids her hair letting it get out of her face

She throws on some white nike slides and grabs her bag to leave, as she goes down the stairs she writes her mom a note on a sticky pad. 'Going to training, love you I'll see you at dinner' she stuck it on the fridge and walked out the door

The weather is gorgeous and so she decides to walk to the small shack, she looks to the beach by her house and see a group of kids most likely Anchor Cove all surfing and throwing water at each other

As she is walking she takes in the environment this is probably her favorite place they have moved too, everyone is so close and every time you turn a corner there are groups of kids just enjoying life without internet and social media

"Aurora!" Poppy comes running up to the girl as she walked into the hut, she captures her in the warm hug. She thinks the reason that Poppy is so close to her already is because they share the same passion for the sport

They understand the pressure put on them to be the best and that's why they clicked so well right off the bat "Hey pops, does training start soon?" The tan girl nods and gestures to a room with shelves full of surfboards Aurora's already put up

"You dad dropped it off this morning, and then we store wetsuits on this rack so at night they can air dry," The girl nods at Poppy's words as they move to another room underneath the hut

Small equipment for working out litters the area "This is the workout room, Manu will let you know what you will need to work on at some point," the pair exit through the backdoor into what looks like is a hangout area

It was a bonfire area, benches, and a skateboarding ramp "This is where I host parties, which reminds me i'm having one on Saturday. You should come!" Aurora looks at her like she is crazy never has she ever went anywhere on a comp night
