AURORA ENTERS THE building surfboard and wetsuit in hand, she see's a women at the desk waving to her with a huge smile on her face. She walks over to the desk and the lady greets her with a comforting smile

"You must be Ms.White!" She types something into her computer and looks up "Your trying out for the 15's right?" Aurora nods and sends her a tight lipped smile as the nice women walks around the desk to her side

The blonde women gestures to follow her as she leads her to an office with a young man sitting in it, his gaze falls on Aurora and he stands up reaching out his hand. She props her board onto the wall and takes it

"Aurora White! How are you doing," The young kid shrugs "You know I'm good, excited to get in the water," he claps his hands together and grabs her board as the exit his office and continues down a hallway containing many changing rooms

He leans her surfboard to the wall and unlocks one of the many rooms "You can change in here and meet me in the front to begin the tryout, the rest of the team will be joining us just to see how you react to pressure,"

Aurora nods as she walks into the plain room and shuts the door, she light blue and white wet suit getting tugged onto her legs. Her least favorite part of surfing is squeezing into the stupid wet suits

She zips up the rest of the way and she shakes her hands trying to prep herself for tryouts, her hands touch the door knob and now she had to do it. As she makes her way to the front her dad waves at her from a couch and she jogs over

"You're going to do great Ror, keep your head tight and your mental game even tighter alright?" she nods and they hit their hands together in a handshake

Aurora hears the 'coach' clear his throat and she smiles at her dad before walking away, the man holds the door for her as she makes her way down to the beach with a serious look on her face.

Her eyes drift to a group of kids watching her walk down to the bay making her bite her lip, it must be the rest of the 15's. She looks to the coach who gestures with his hand to start surfing and showing her skills

As all eyes moved to her she began to run into the water letting it splash into her face enjoying the warmth of the sun connecting to her skin. She grunts as she begins paddling out past the line of the short weak waves

She searches for a wave of her choice as she is sat on top of her board, biting her lip as she see's one coming she paddles as fast as she can. She pushes herself to her feet and begin to start riding the wave

The board glides easily through the water, and she decided to throw a roundhouse cutback. As she moves her body weight quickly the trick is executed perfectly, her legs bend as she finds a small spot for a air

Without any second thoughts she takes off and moves the top of her foot to the top catching air and hitting back down landing the trick as clean as it can get. She gives out of the wave as she already road it out till the end

Aurora paddles back to her starting spot and straddles the board letting a few waves go until she finds the one she has been waiting for this whole run. Her arms move quickly as they switch spots with her legs on the board

The height of the wave builds as she throws a rodeo flip turning her body and her board in the air, she grunts as she gets low catching herself at the middle of the wave. As it begins to close she smiles thinking of doing a tube ride

Her hips move without thinking and begins to ride through it, she smiles as she makes it out the other side. She backflips off the board and swims in as the coach signals with his hands that her run is over

"So that's Aurora White?" She heard a boy ask while another girl responds "Looks like Sheridan has some competition this year,"

The girl Aurora assumes to be Sheridan scoffs "As if, I could do that in my sleep," The group laughs at her causing Sheridan to roll her eyes at the immature teenagers until one of then spoke up

"Sheridan you've never even landed a fly, good luck with her in your head," Aurora walks past the group flashing them a smile as they look at her

As she continues walking the man pats her on the back and gestures for her dad to follow them into the office. As the father and daughter pair take a seat one of them dripping over the plastic the coach sits in front of them

The young man leans back in his chair "I reckon I can find her the perfect spot here at Anchor Cove, we have everything a young girl like her should need. We provide memberships and we can surely find her a sponsorship with tricks like that,"

Mark White moves up in his chair and sets his elbows out onto the end of the desk "Aurora already has sponsorships and quite frankly memberships are nothing that we cant get on our own,"

The coaches face turned serious realizing that this girl isn't going to be able to join easily and that they have to work for her "Tell me what Anchor Cover has to offer that other programs don't,"

His hands clasp together "We have incredible programs that allow the kids to improve by competing against each other," Mark pulls back into his chair

"Where are all of the adults? Is there any hands on learning?" The man bites his lip

"Our programs don't rely on adults, we provide equipment and different ways for kids to improve without their hands being held the whole time," Aurora's dad cuts him off

He clicks his tongue "So your telling me instead of coaching these kids they have thirty minute lessons and for the rest of the day figure it out by themselves to improve their 'independence' I'm sorry but this isn't for us,"

Aurora and Mark White exit the room laughing with the kids eyes on them as the exit the building, she turns to her dad and gives him a high-five to which he returns "Dad I think I know where I want to go,"

After a bit of driving they pull into a small hut in Shorehaven making the pair smile at each other as they jump out of the car and into the small business
