Chapter 9

1 month later.

I tried to avoid Leon's playful glares that was burning into my profile as I propped my feet on top of his lap knowing full well that I was annoying the living shit out of him as feet were his biggest pet peeve; but after two minutes of complete silence and me trying my best to fix my gaze on the TV screen and nothing but the TV screen I couldn't help but burst out laughing when I quickly glanced over to him and he was looking at me with his right thick eyebrow raised and lips clamped together as if to question if I was in my right senses. He nodded coolly before looking back at the TV screen and I beamed happily knowing I had won this one for now. Leon had decided to come over a few hours ago as he claimed he had nothing 'better' to do, and all I could do was snort at his lame excuse for covering up the fact that we both knew he enjoyed spending time with me. That's what we had been doing for the past month, spending time with each other - if it wasn't our meaningless face time calls or stupid late night conversations which consisted of arguing who could sing better, then we were texting each other. I enjoyed his company and that I couldn't deny.

I looked at the greasy Dominoes cardboard box which laid lifelessly on the glass table situated a few inches away from us and stretched over to lift up the lid which revealed the small last mighty meat triangle piece sitting comfortably

"Don't you dare" Leon said looking up from his phone

I grinned and picked it up as I turned to face him, giving Leon a smug smile as I bit into the piece and watched the cheese stretch upwards as I pulled the pizza away

"Alright" Leon said collectively and too calmly

I stuck out my tongue childishly and prepared to take another bite out of the pizza again, but appeared to be a second too late as Leon leant over rapidly and tore the piece from my hands leaving me with nothing but the crust remainders on my index finger and thumb

"LEONNNNN!"

He didn't even hesitate to shove the whole pizza into his mouth as he looked directly at me giving a chew or two before loudly gulping

"You didn't even eat it properly" I frowned

"Oh and you know how things should be eaten right yeah?"

I felt my insides squirm as I noticed his clever remark and felt like an idiot when the only smart response I could muster back was "Shut up"

His cocky laughter filled my ears as he looked at me amused by my discomfort

"You're annoying" I said trying to change the subject

"I know" He beamed "But that doesn't change the fact that you like me"

I watched him tuck in his full bottom lip as he scrutinised me, his head cocked to the side and dark brown eyes now in a mere squint

"I don't like you" I scoffed

"You don't like me yeah?" He said above a whisper as he leaned over close to my face and used his forefinger to prop my chin up
