University Years - Part I

Buck ended up going to Switzerland, Leichstenstein, Belgium, and Luxembourg, at the end. He enjoyed it fully and made friends all over the world. He ended up graduating from Germantown Boarding School for the Gifted at 16. He was, of course, accepted into the University of Florida for a double degree: a Bachelor of Science in Fire and Emergency Services, and a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a Legal History Specialization. The Bachelor of Science in Fire and Emergency Services, has three different specializations. Fires, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Management, and Emergency and Management. But there's also the option of specializating in all three of them, which was the choice that Buck had made.

Did you expect anything else from a Hufflepuff with the brains of a Ravenclaw?

As expected, Buck's parents did not attend his graduation. While, it did sadden Buck, he had long since accepted that they were parents he did not want in his life. They did give him the bank account with his university fund and gifted him a red Yamaha Tenere 700 motorcycle, as a graduation gift. They also gave him a two bedroom apartment at The Gathering of Green Harbor, in Gainesville, Florida. If Buck's parents wanted to throw money at him, who was he not to accept it? They were shitty parents anyway, so he'll take all they can give. The apartment community was incredible too! The security is awesome, they have a fitness center, a clubhouse, a gameroom, a pool, a coffee bar, and pet spa.

You've heard right, a pet spa!

And it was all on his name, the apartment and motorcycle. Buck's parents paid everything for the next four years and the monthly allowance they've been giving him since he went to the boarding school was still on place. This total lack of care, would have once made Buck react badly in desire to get his parents attention, even at the cost of his education. However, now he was different. Mrs. and Mr. Staurt have become his pseudo-parents and he loved them with all his heart. His therapist, the one he still has sessions with, taught him that sometimes found family was better than blood-related.

He has made peace wwith the fact that his parents are neglectful trash and does not seek their approval anymore. He's still touch starved and has low self-esteem issues, which he is dealing with therapy, one day at the time. Slowly, but steadily.

So, he takes the money his D.N.A donors throw at him during vacations and continues to do his favorite hobby: travel. For his first spring break, as he had only been 16 and as a firefighter drugs and alcohol are frown upon, he gathered a nice group of students that were also underage and took them to the Dinsey and Universal Studios amusement parks. They decided to make it a yearly tradition. For winter vacations he went to visit Mrs. and Mr. Stuart. Lastly, for summer vacations, he went wild. For his first year, he visited Peru with a friend, who was going to visit family there. The two of them made a round trip through the country.

For his second year, he decided to finally get to know his country, starting with the East Coast. He took his bike on a road trip of self-discovery. He went to see more of Florida, Miami and the Everglades National Park. He then continued to Savannah, Georgia, and then to Charleston and Hampton, in Virginia. He finished the road trip in the Shenandoha National Park, in Virginia.

Now, as a junior student, he is already planning his next road trip- even though, the academic year had only just started. He'll be going to Myrtle beach, South Caroline, Charlotte and the Outer Banaks, North Caroline, Washington D.C, and Baltimore, Maryland. Finishing in the great Smokey Mountains National Park.

However, this road trip, he was planning on inviting someone else. There's this cute boy, two years below him but of his same age, only just starting his Bachelor of Science in Fire and Emergency Services, with all three specializations. Oh, did I forget to mention? Buck is pansexual people! He did date and sleep around with some girls, but he has never really been in a real relationship. And he really liked this guy.

Let's hope things work out for him.
