Elvis' POV

I was out in Hollywood filming a picture called love me tender.. I wish Marie was here but she's in Memphis and here I am.. In Hollywood "ok cut. Great job Elvis" "thank ya"

All I had to do was film a few more scenes and I'll be done filming this picture. But this is my first picture. Am I nervous. Yeah.

Marie's POV

Me and June sat on the beach in front of the country club. "So are ya and Elvis?" "Good how ya and cash" "me and Johnny aren't datin" "yeah- aways how are the girls" "they want to see ya- maybe tomorrow?" "Yeah sure i miss em" she giggled and I did too. "Did Elvis call ya yet?" "N-no n-not yet" I killed me not hearing his voice and his presence.

I pulled out a cigarette out of my bra. "Ya smoke now?.. Are ya ok? Ya have Dark circles under ya eyes ya smokin now?" "Every body left me... Ma went on tour Elvis is out in Hollywood.. And I'm out here just sittin here bein... " "Marie ya are not alone!"

I sat up with my cigarette in my mouth. I pulled it off my mouth blowing smoke out of my mouth. My red lip stained the white cigarette. "Bye June see ya and girls tomorrow" "o-ok"

I got in bed. I looked over at my pill bottle. I grabbed it and took 2 out and popped them in my mouth. 'God what I'm I doin' I layed down and fell asleep.

9:00

I got up moving my long white curtains out of the way.

I turned on the radio and stayed doing my makeup and hair.

I sung with Johnny on the radio. I wasn't a big fan of his but I liked his music.

June and the girls are coming over soon. She's a single mom that just got divorced a few years ago. She was on tour with Elvis, Johnny, and Jerry lee Lewis and more. I think her and Johnny has a thing but she said otherwise.

It was hot outside and the girls will probably going to be out side.

Knock knock..

"I'm comin!" I opened the door and saw Elvis' figure. "Oh my hi El" I wrapped my arms around his neck "hi baby I missed ya too" I'm pretty sure my ass was showing but I didn't care. He put he down and kissed me hard. "Ya mama isn't here?" "She's on tour.." "Oh sooo can I stay here tonight and maybe tomorrow?" "Sure" I giggled.

He slapped my ass. "Hey!" He chuckled "June and the girls are comin over" "oh really?!" "Yeah!.. Ya done filmin the picture?" "Mhmm!" I giggled. "Ya skirt... Lil short don'tcha think?" "Oh I really don't care" he chuckled pulling me in as he kissed me.

"Hi Marie!" "Hi girls!" "Hi Elvis" "well hello June" "c'mon girls I have somethin for y'all" we went outside where the pool was. "Mama can we go in the pool?" "It's up to Marie" June looked over at me. "Yeah god right ahead!" They had there swim suit under there dress' "ya came prepared didn't y'all" "Mhm!" I giggled.

I lit a cigarette. Elvis gave me a look. "So did ya like the book I gave ya?" June asked "no. That book was weird" "why? Because it's a romantic novel?" "Yeah ew like I don't need to know every single word and thing ya do in bed. Just ew" June and Elvis laughed "m-marie" June giggled.

"Ugh." June got up took her heels off and put her feet in the pool. "Honey. Whats wrong? Ya never smoke" Elvis grabbed my hand. "I don't know... I missed ya and now that ma isn't here and ya wasn't here I got into bad habits" he doesn't know about the sleeping pills... But he takes them...

He looked away. And so did I.
