It had been two weeks since Daniel and Duke had been offered a spot to audition as trainees for PTJ Entertainment. Honestly (Name) forgot about it entirely.

Only when (Name) was called down to look at a faulty speaker in the dance studio, did they remember about Daniel and Duke. They were taking a look to see what was wrong with the speaker, when they saw the two towards the back wall. They sat almost hidden, along with another new trainee, behind Lasol and Oliver. The older trainees trying to explain the problem to them. "It's fine Lasol, Oliver. It's not like I'm gonna stick you with a bill to replace the thing. Stuff breaks after being used for a while" they comforted "but I'll have to take it to get repaired. It doesn't look like an easy fix. Newbies! Go down to the storage room at the end of the hall. There's some spare speakers in there that should work for you all. Be quick, so I can install it for you."

Daniel, Duke, and Joy nodded and quickly rushed off. Lasol spoke up first "What's up with that? You're bossing new people around now?"

"Yeah," Oliver added in "are you becoming a bully or something?"

(Name) waved them off. "Come on, you two know me better than that. I helped recruit those two guys, so I just want to see what they're like. Helpful it seems. That's good."

"They are, they're hardworking too. Joy is a natural talent, Duke's on target with training, and Daniel's showed unbelievable improvement. What would take three months is taking him no time at all" Oliver said.

"I'm not surprised since you two are instructing them. You'd both have debuted by now if it was up to me, but even I can't get through to Yongmin on that one" (Name) replied while disconnecting the speaker from the rest of the sound set up.

Before the trio's conversation could go any further, Daniel, Duke, and Joy arrived back to the room. Joy held the door open wide so the boys could make it in easily. Daniel and Duke both had spare speakers in their arms. (Name) let out a groan at this. Duke's speaker was just what they needed. Daniel's on the other hand was just as busted as the one they're removing now. "Good work with bringing speakers, but the one Daniel is carrying is busted. Someone probably swapped it out without mentioning the need to repair it. What a pain" they sighed.

"Sorry to create so much extra work for you (Name)" Lasol said.

"Yeah" the others mumbled, looking towards the ground.

"Huh? This is quite literally my job. There's no reason to feel bad for following the companies systems for getting things repaired. It'll save me work in the long run, just like properly reporting that speaker Daniel's got would have kept me from having to lug two speakers around now. Speaking of, you can set that near the door, I'll take it when I leave" (Name) said to Daniel. They then took the speaker Duke was carrying and went to work on installing it.

Installing the new speaker was proving a more annoying task than originally planned. It was an older version and needed a certain cable to properly connect to the sound system. Right as (Name) was going to say they had to run and get the cable out of the supply closet, the door burst open.

"Hey! Class C losers!" someone yelled "We're gonna practice in here early. So get out." All the commotion came from Class A, particularly the boys of the group. Anyone could notice the flinch all of Class C did, from the shouting.

(Name) could feel themselves becoming irritated. "Hey!-" the Class A boy swiftly cut himself off. He'd seen (Name) and instantly corrected himself. He'd heard the rumors that the CEO would drop anyone who got on their bad side, and so had practically everyone else. It was a unwritten rule within the company not to piss them off. That's why whenever most people see (Name) they act as properly, efficiently, and most importantly as quiet as possible. "A-Apologies for yelling, we didn't realize you were working on something in here."

"I need the box of cables from the supply closet. Why don't you take all of Class A and get it for me? Quickly" (Name) said.

Class A all scrambled to get out of sight and find what (Name) needed.

Looking at the clock (Name) mentioned it was time for a lunch break. They treated Class C to food, but went to eat alone at their desk to do more work afterword.
