Hey everyone! Sorry I'm a day late! Yesterday was super busy for me...
Ok! So basically in the rather long interval between Seasons 1 and 2 of the Bad Batch, I kinda dreamed up my own version of what would happen after Season 1. Basically, Crosshair went AWOL, stole a bunch of the Empire's credits, and started a new life as an assassin/bounty hunter.
I mean, technically this could happen in Season 2! Whether it does or not, though, I do have some designs for my version of Crosshair! Here they are!
Also, all digital art was done using my fingers since I lost my Apple Pencil, so it's kinda messy...

That's the original sketch which I drew over on my iPad; I included basically to give a clearer idea of my color scheme.
I chose red and yellow both as a tribute to the Bad Batch and Cody and because I read somewhere (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong since it was a while ago) that for Mandalorians (and yeah, clones aren't Mandalorian but does that really matter) yellow means memory and red means defiance.
And I chose to make most of his outfit kinda blue to convey coldness of heart and a more standoffish, guarded personality. His poncho is also kind of meant to convey his wish to remain hidden and unnoticed.

These are a bunch of sketches of his design. Basically he has an old helmet kinda like Obi Wan's in The Box episode from Clone Wars. It has a voice modulator (which would come in use when he inevitably ran into the Bad Batch) and he keeps it on most of the time. He painted it himself because why not?
The rest of his gear is a mix of his old imperial armor and clothes he got from some out of the way thrift shop, which is where he found the helmet. Basically he stole an imperial ship, high-tailed it to some random planet, and bought everything for a super low price "in the name of the Empire," all before the Empire even realized he'd gone AWOL.
So, yeah! That's my idea! I probably put way too much thought into it, but oh well!
