What If: Sam died and never came back

After I died in hope's arms I woke up in the same place but I saw no one here

I walked around and saw a bunch of people in time square and I started just walking then I found myself in a bar that was under the clocktower

I Saw it was full of people and Landon was there behind the bar

Landon? I asked

Sam how are you here, how did you die? He asked

I made the right choice for once and I saved Hope. I said and sat down on a stool and he pour us a drink

Well you should be happy about that. He said and passed me a drink

I'm happy I saved Hope, but I won't be there with her to raise our daughter. I said

I'm sorry man, that I made your life a living hell, but I guess this is my carma, dying in the arms of my fiance and not even seeing my daughter one last time. I said and downed my drink

I deserve it for all the innocent people I killed and for the people I hurt. I said

You don't deserve this you may have been an asshole sometimes but you don't deserve this. He said then he was about to talk again but he disappeared

When Landon returned he told me that Hope was looking for her dad

I looked around and learned he went to peace and Landon said I had to go to peace so Klaus could give hope one last message

Hope is walking with Landon to a place

She is holding her daughter Hayley who has been crying all day for her other mother who she hasn't seen all day

Where are we going? Hope asked

It's a surprise. He said then they arrived hope saw a long chair and they saw down and she saw a screen

The message from Ethan played then the message from her dad and she thought it was over but then she saw the person she and her daughter have been missing all day

Hey Hope. Sam said with a sad smile and hope smiled and Hayley yelled momma with her arms out

Landon pulled some strings and got me to peace and it is amazing here, but I do still miss you and Hayley and I'll never forget you two. Sam said

How could I forget my first ever child and the first real love of my life, I know I said we were gonna get married but sometimes things don't turn out how we want them to but anyways. Sam said

I don't know if you have Hayley right now but, when she grows up into a beautiful young woman like her mother, I want her to know that I would have done anything in my power to give her the best life and I want her to find love, I want her to get married, I would have done anything to walk her down the isle myself but I can't. Sam said

And Hope, I want you to find love again and have more kids like you wanted I hope you get married and I hope you live your life happy, because that's all I wanted for you. I said

And if I could take us back, if I could just do that, I would have stopped myself from leaving you alone for 2 years and stop myself from ever hurting you, I would because you complete me Hope, you filled my black heart up with love and you made me happy, you and Hayley were the light in my life and you always will be no matter what. Sam said and Hope had tears running down her face so did Sam

I love you and Hayley more than anything else even my own life that's why I sacrificed myself for you Hope because if Hayley grows up with a parent I think it should be you, as much as I wanted to watch our daughter grow up into a strong woman like her parents, I can't and I hate that. Sam said

But our time together is up and I'm so sorry I'm not there with you and by your side holding onto you like there was no tomorrow. Sam said

But I have to go your dad and mom are going to lecture me about dying, but I always want you to remember that I love you and our daughter and hopefully in our next life we will have our happy ending. Sam said then disappeared

Hope looked at her daughter who's smiled disappeared

It's okay baby, you'll see her again someday. Hope said and kissed her daughters head
