"MUMM" i shout as i see her running out of the train station

"CHLOEEE"

"how are you!?"

"im great, how are you, your dad and your brother"

"dad's great, he's really settling into the job, and Adam is good as well, he's in the Academy, i see him around the training centre every now and again"

"oh ive missed you all so much"

"same mum, i wish i could have taken the train to come down but everything at the training work has been so hectic for the last few months, and just now everything is starting to finally calm down"

"well thats great, i wish i could have come too, but you know how work is at the NHS"

"oh gosh it was painful"

"it was, glad i get to work with you guys now ay"

"you'll be right next door to my office you know"

"thats lovely, just hope you won't pester me or im sure i can get your dad to get you a bit more work to do" she laughs as i help her with her suitcases

.

i drive her to our house, where my brother also lived, its where i grew up for a couple years when i was younger, until we moved to manchester of course

i unlock the door with my copy of the keys

"oi Adam, get off the playstation" i shout into the corridor because i know when he's not at the training centre he's here in his room playing on his playstation

my brothers only 19, right now he's in the liverpool academy playing for the u21's, and according to his coach, he's not far from signing for the first team. usually his gcse's and a-levels were keeping him busy when he isn't at the academy but after he finished school he just spends his time on the playstation or with his mates. when we was in manchester, he was at the city academy, but when we moved back to liverpool, my dad being the head coach now moved him to the liverpool academy, since he thought it would just be a lot easier for him

he walks out of his room with that distinctive curly hair trim that all the boys have nowadays

"MUM!" he exclaims as he rushes to greet her

after a while, my dad arrives home from the training centre and we all sit down to eat the chinese takeaway from one restaraunt my mum absolutely loved

"right, so its your uncle Jamie's birthday next week"

"saturday right?" i say

"surprised you know your uncles birthday"

"anyone in my contacts i have their birthday saved on my calendar"

"you need to teach me that, theres no way im going to be able to remember all my staff's birthdays" my dad says

"Adam knows how its done"
