He groaned and began to sit up. He turned his head first and before, "my, where are we?"

I kept my tight grip on him, which he surprisingly let me do.

"Hello?" He called, "Is anyone there?"

Only silence.

He hummed suspiciously, and only then did the room fully light up and hundreds of small creatures flew to a mountain-esc structure towering above us.

The light reached the top of it, Illuminating the large figure of something that seemed to be a man.

I gasped and stepped back, tugging Mr. Scrooge as well.

"WHO DARES DESTURB MY SLUMBER?" The beings voice boomed through the large room, echoing off the walls and crashing back onto us. "STATE THY NAME AND BUISINESS, PUNY MORTALS." he demanded.

Mr. Scrooge grabbed around me and we stepped backwards in fear. We were to shaken to say anything to the man before us.

I could tell Scrooge was shaking and breathing heavily, I guess the large man above us had enough fun and just let out a hardy laugh. "Ahh, hahaha, I can't. I can't keep it up!" He laughed. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It was her, she dared me." He said while one of his little troll like beings flew onto his shoulder. "Oh, we do like to have fun down here." He said floating down in front of us. "Don't worry, I know who you guys are. Come on bring it in!" He went, grabbing us both into a tight hug and squeezing us together. "Welcome my friends, Welcome!"

"Welcome where? Where are we? When are we?" Ebenezer asked with a limited amount of air.

The large man dropped us to the ground. "Oh, you are in the here and now. In the present! Isn't it just fabulous?" He said spinning around to show his relm.

"It's..fine. I suppose." He said in confusion.

"From here, I can go anywhere I please. Just so long as it's happening right now. And I do so love to visit your teeny-tiny, tootsy-wootsy, little planet at this time of year. So much love, generosity, and good cheer!.. which, conversely, brings me to you Ebenezer." He explained.

"To me?" He asked.

"Yes, you." He pointed to Scrooge and got closer. "Squeezing, wrenching, grasping, clutching, covetous you! Secret and solitary as an oyster, you edge along the crowded paths of life, keeping everyone at a distance, including the ones you love." The man said, now gesturing to me.

'Love?' I thought to myself, beyond confusion.

"Love? Her?" Mr. Scrooge asked. "Why that's just.. preposterous. I'm merely her boss." He scoffed.

"Okay, okay, I believe you." He backed up. "Just saying, you can't hide this information from an all knowing deity." He shrugged and winked to me.

"BADAHBAHA, don't listen too him." Mr. Scrooge demanded me. "And you," he turned back to the large man. "Why are we here?" He scolded the man for answers.
