- Skye's POV -

All I've wanted for the past few weeks is to be safe, and now I'm exactly that. But there's one thing bothering me.

Adam.

Where is he? Why is it Abbie that came to look for me? I'm not dissappointed because I love her. But Adam's my boyfriend, and it seems to me that he doesn't give a damn I'm missing.

------------------------------

"Matt!" I smiled.

"Abbie, long time no see" he said.

What? Do they know each other?

"Abbie, do you know Matt?" I asked her. She looked some what destroyed. I don't know why, but it seems like seeing Matt has hurt her. She's my best friend, how come I don't know why?

"Erm. Yeah.. Childhood friends" she whispered.

Something's obviously happened between them if she's terrified of him.

"Guys, what-" I began.

"We need to go! What if Ryan wakes up!" Abbie shouted, then looked at Matt who nodded in approval.
She's hiding something from me and I need to know what it is.

My legs were weak after not using them for a while, so I stayed behind Matt and Abbie. Abbie took the lead and opened the trap door to the main hall of the house. It felt good to walk again. As I reached the top stair, I had a shooting pain in my stomach. I couldn't figure it what it was, but it hurt, a lot.

"Aaah" I screamed in pain.

"Skye!" They yell in unison.

Matt rushed over to me, while Abbie stared, as if she was trying to label him. He helped me up the last stair and lay me down.

"Call an ambulance!" He shouted. Abbie jumped a little, then reached for her phone in her back pocket. I started screaming again, the pain came back and it felt like shooting cramps plus 8102802280 knifes in my stomach.

"M-Matt"

"Can I?" He asked, signalling to my shirt. I gave him a small nod, unable to manage anything else. He lifted my shirt up and frowned. I tried to balance on my elbows to take a look, but he pulled it down and layed me back down. I was about to ask what scared him so much, when Abbie came back through the door.

"They're coming in five minutes. For now you need to drink plenty of water and stay relaxed. The nurse said any subtle movement can damage your body since you haven't been moving for a while" she says, and knelt down next to me. I gave her a thankful smile and she handed me a bottle of water.

"Where is this from?" I whispered. My voice was almost gone.

"It's Ryan's, he was carrying it but he hasn't drank out of it, so it must be clean" she answered.
I glanced at Matt before drinking the water, he was staring at Abbie the whole time. She was looking at me, although it seemed as if she knew he was watching her.

"Erm, Matt? Could you maybe give us a minute, alone?" She asked him, although she looked at me the whole time.
Without saying anything, Matt got up and went into another room.

"Abbie, what the hell!" I whispered.

"Look. Don't go mental okay. But me and Matt... We you know.."

I looked at her with no expression.

"You what.." I whispered, in my head I was screaming.

"We did it.. And he got me pregnant but I got an abortion.." Tears filled her eyes as she struggled to look at me.

It doesn't seem like Abbie. It hurt that she hadn't told me and that she had to go through it alone.

"Why did you get an abortion?" I asked, but soon regretted it. I shouldn't be questioning her, she clearly finds it hard to talk about.

"I was only 15, Skye. I didn't wanna throw my life away.." she stood up and started pacing around, I could tell she was trying to fight back the tears.

"Look, Abbie. I'm glad you told me." I smiled. She smiled back, but I couldn't help notice the few tears that still streamed down her cheeks.

"Can I ask a question?"
She came closer to me and nodded.
"H-how did you know you were.. You know.."

"I felt different. And it was like cramps in my tummy at first, but after that I started being sick a lot and that's when Matt told me to take a test"

I didn't have time to answer, since the ambulance staff came rushing through the doors. I was a little startled when the doors slammed open, but I readjusted myself and tried to stay strong as the woman attempted to lift me up. I seen Matt come back through the door.

"Okay sweetie. I'm going to put this mask on you, so you fall asleep. This is best so you don't feel any pain until we get to the hospital, since your condition is critical. Is that okay?" She smiled down at me. I smiled back, hoping she got the mental yes I was giving her.

"Can I p-please just talk to her for a second?" I asked pleadingly. She nodded and moved back a little, making space for Abbie to come forward.

"What's up, Skye? You don't need to worry anymore, I promise"

I stayed quiet, worried.

"Look I know your scared, but everything's going to be okay" she smiled and squeezed my hand.

"N-no Abbie. It's not that.." I trailed off.

"We're going to need to leave soon, Miss" the woman said.

"Skye, what is it?" Abbie says, ignoring the paramedics who were trying to rush her.

"I-I think I'm pregnant..."
