I felt his lips gently press onto mine as he took my hands into his. My head immediately cleared of every negative thought. He started to pull me closer, sliding his arm around my waist. He tucked my hair behind my ear and whispered something, he was mumbling so I couldn't make out what he said.
"You're amazing, you know that right?"
I sat there like an idiot. No clue in the slightest how to respond, so I just smiled up at him. I loved the fact he was taller than me.
The rest of the night was much better than I expected. We spoke about a lot which made me happy considering we'd only just met, and we were already so comfortable around each other.
He told me about his family life, and how his dad passed away when he was only three. And how he has no clue what he wants to do when he leaves school. He said he had a girlfriend back in NYC but she cheated on him.
It's fair to say we learnt a lot about each other.
I told him a lot about my past, which I find fairly difficult to speak about.. But with him it just seemed so easy.
By the time we had finished watching The Maze Runner, I was falling asleep. I looked over at the time and it was already almost ten o'clock.
"I best get going now"
"Skyeeeeeeeeeee"
I laughed because I knew what he was doing. When he says my name like that he knows I find it really cute.
"Adam, I need to go now"
"Fine, c'mon I'll walk you"
I grabbed my phone and we started walking across the street.
"Thanks for tonight, I had an amazing time"
"So did I, thanks for coming" he smiled then kissed me.
"I'll see you tomorrow morning, yeah?"
