An ode to summer…
Of short days
And hot nights
From the warm summer rays
To the gulls that take flight
To the beach, and your sandy shores
To the shells scattered along the floors.
An ode to summer…
To walking along at night
Looking up, into the sky
Only to see a lone fire fly
Look up to see millions of stars
Smiling down from afar
A full moon completes this sight
Oh what a perfect night.
