Chpt 4. The word

Tengen's pov
I was talking to the kid he seemed off I told him if anything was bothering him, and he said it was nothing obviously it was something. I looked down to see blood Dry blood I was gonna ask Senjuro what happened but he ran off before I even had the chance to speak.

That's when I knew something was off I got up and looked for Senjuro's dad. While looking around I found nothing until I heard a voice

"Should I tell her?"

"Of course not! Just stay stay calm"

I did not recognize the voice I heard. I walked over where the voice came from I made sure I was quiet, I had no weapon so it'd be a hard fight I jumped on the roof and saw... A pair of brats.

"ZENITSU AND TANJIRO! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

"DEMON!!"

Did he seriously just call me a demon I was so disappointed in him

"Do I look like a demon."

"No.. but you act like one!"

That's when I jumped down and punched him in the stomach Tanjiro was trying to help Zenitsu calm down but he failed

"What brings you two here?"

"Well I wanted to check up on senjuro and zenitsu wanted to tag along"

Not surprised by that but whatever I'll take it

"Alright but help me find Senjuro's dad I can't find him"

Tanjiro nodded and walked off while zenitsu quickly followed him I got off the roof and started looking in the house

"Claw marks."

I said while staring at the wall I heard someone creep up on me it was Shinjuro someone who isn't really flashy but I had a bone to pick with em

"Shinjuro isn't it?"

"Don't play dumb. What do you want?"

Well Rengoku did tell me his father hated his time being wasted so I guess I can't be mad at that

"Well then. Care to explain what you did to senjuro and Y/N?"

His face turned to 'Big and bad' to 'here we go again' he sighed not wanting to hear me but he had no choice

"That was a long time ag-"

"LONG TIME MY ASS. YOU DONT TREAT NOBODY LIKE THAT! Do you know how hard working your kids are? DO YOU?"

He looked down I guess he was trying not to cry, but I didn't feel sorry for the bitch. After all he is the reason why Rengoku joined us. He wanted to look good, he wanted to show that his family was no joke.

"RENGOKU WAS EVERYONES HOPE! HE MADE US FEEL LIKE SOMETHING! IF WE FELT LIKE SHIT GUESS WHO CAME AND HELPED US."

"KYOJURO DID! I UNDERSTAND I WAS A SHIT FATHER AT THE TIME, BUT IMAGINE ONE OF YOUR WIVES DYING HOW WOULD YOU FUCKING FEEL?!"

There was nothing but silents between us Kyojuro never told me his mother passed away I now felt bad but not bad enough to let this slide Senjuro came out of his room and looked at us

"Um.. c-can you two not yell.."

I sighed and nodded

"Where are my wives?"

"They're with Y/N"

Good I had enough with his father I feel so bad for Kyojuro and Senjuro if only their father was a bit better than this I sighed knowing damn well I heard them laughing with Y/N but for now I gotta act like a ordinary person

"Thanks senjuro"

Senjuro took my hand and walked me to Y/N's room they were all talking about girl stuff

"Ladies come on it's time to go home"

Although I didn't wanna make them upset because they make friends real quick I had to leave now

"Awww fiine"

Suma ofc didn't wanna leave but she gave in without a fight they all got up and told Y/N bye it was a nice view

Y/N got tons of hugs from Suma and Hina (Short name for Hinatsuru) but Makio she just gave her head pats they left Y/N's room and so did I we walked out the door but I swear I felt a glare

Shinjuro's pov
After that talk with Tengen It made me go back in my mind and see all the bullshit I've done with my family I couldn't stand myself back then I sighed and sat down on the couch

Senjuro came from around the corner

"Father.. don't think too much about that conversation I know it was a tuff talk but Tengen just really miss Rengoku"

"Go in your room please I don't need to talk to anyone right now"

With that he was off I went in my room and got my bottle I kinda didn't wanna drink again but I had to clear my mind somehow I started drinking my life away once again but I made sure not to get aggressive

Night suddenly came I didn't worry too much about the demons I just fell asleep

But I felt like that was a mistake.
