Part 2 Chapter 13

Precious' POV

'He was going through my stuff!' I shout.
Earlier I walked into mine and Kyle's room to see Bash searching through all of our drawers, he almost got the necklace that Kyle got me for my Birthday!

'It's alright jus-' Kyle begins.
'No, it's not okay! He was invading our privacy. He almost got the necklace!' I interrupt him.

'Precious, calm down...'
Calm down!?
He just said "calm down" !
Doesn't he know not to say that to a girl!?
Especially me!

'I'm gonna go downstairs. I have some very important business to attend to with Kellie' I say.
'What?'
'Bye Kyle!' I call and leave the room.

I go downstairs to see the others with worried looks on their faces.
'Still haven't found her?' I ask.
They shake their heads.

'Where's Kellie?'
'Outside. She's looking for Laura with Jason' Ross says.

I go to the back door and walk outside.
I see her and Jason walk up and down the garden calling Laura's name.

'Kellie!'
She quickly turns to look at me.
'What!? did you find her!?'
'Uh no... but' I put my hand on her shoulder.

She sighs 'precious now isn't the tim-'
'It's important' I interrupt her.
She sighs once more but puts her hand on my shoulder.
We both nod our heads.
'Back in a sec. Please just... keep looking for her' she says to Jason and we walk away into the house.

We go into the hall and sit down on the floor.
'Okay, the first official meeting of the 'As much as we love Kyle and Jason,they're both noobs club' shall commence' Kellie says.
'So what did he do?'

'He told me... To calm down' I say.
Her eyes widen.
'That idiot...' she mutters 'Doesn't he know not to tell a girl to calm down?'
'That's what I thought!' I say.

'Wait... why did he tell you to calm down in the first place?' she asks.
'Oh yeah. so earlier this morning I walked into my room only to see Bash going through mine and Kyle's stuff!' I say.

'What?'
'Yeah I know' I say.
'Well... like, what was he looking for?' she asks me.
'I have no idea!' I shrug 'he's been acting really weird since yesterday'

'Yeah... Alex told me that he kept muttering to himself too' she says.
'Really? what did he say?' I ask.
'I'm not sure... Something about some sort of... samples or something?' she shrugs.

'Samples?....'
'Maybe we can go ask Alex. he heard what he was saying' she suggests.
'Yeah, let's go. this meeting is over'

Lauren's POV

Laura's missing, Bash is acting crazy and for some reason... I just feel really worried. something's not right...

Something bad is going to happen, I can tell...

Jason walks into the livingroom.
'Anything?' I ask.
'Nothing...' he says sadly.

'It was them... it had to have been the squids' I say.
'But what if it's not this time? We don't want to just give ourselves to them for nothing' Adam says.

'But what if it is and she's in danger?' I ask.
'Hey, it's alright Lauren. I'm sure Laura's just playing around... it'll be okay' Ty tries to assure me but I don't believe him.
Something's bad... really bad.

The others put their fingers to their nose and I'm the last one.
'Goddammit...' I mutter.
'Fine I'll do it' I groan before leaving.
Kellie and Jason are still looking for Laura but she's no-where to be found.

I go into the barn to feed Voldemort pig before a voice makes me stop.
'Which one next? we've already got the girl'
I crouch behind a block of hay.
'I've been searching through their stuff but before I could get anything she stopped me' I hear Bash's voice say.

'Well you need to hurry up. we need more of those samples! She only got us four the last time' a girls voice says.

Samples...

*flashback*

'But... I don't understand. why do you want DNA samples?'
'Oh Lauren... we need someone as amazing as you to do this for us. After all you ARE an assassin!'
'But why?'
'We'll explain after you do this. Well, off you go. and don't come back without those samples!'
'Yes sir'

*la flashback ends*

DNA samples...
This is all my fault...
And now Bash is on their side!

'I'm trying! They're starting to get suspicious... especially 'her' '
Bash says.

'I know you're in here...' a squids voice calls out.
'Come on. show yourself'

I stay quiet.
'Marco' he says.
'Polo' I say before I can stop myself.

'Idiot...' he mutters.
I feel a pair of hands pull me out from behind the hay.

Crap!

'Lauren... long time no see' a very familiar voice says.
A voice I never expected to hear again...

'Nikki?'

Alex's POV

'Lauren's been gone for a while... I'm gonna go see if she's okay' Ty says worriedly.
'Hey, where's bash?' I ask when he leaves.
The others look around the room.
'He said he needed to take care of something...' Amy says.
'Of what?'
'He didn't say. he just left' she shrugs.

'Samples... what samples?' Precious asks for the millionth time.
'I don't know! I would tell you if I did but I promise you, I have no idea'

She sighs. 'it's just so weird...'
'Guys, Lauren's gone' Ty burst into the room.
'What?'
'She's gone!'

'Well, where?' I ask.
'How would I know!?' he shouts.
'Okay calm down!' Adam says.
'Never tell a girl to calm down' Molly sniggers.
'Molly!'

She raises her hands in defeat.
'We need to go looking for her' Adam says 'Ty,Ross, Perniya and Josh you guys go look around the town'

They nod and leave to look for her.

'Anyone else wanna go missing?' Molly mutters but loud enough for us all hear.
'Molly... shut up' Roisin says.

'Just-... just shut up...'

Perniya's POV

' I know now is not really the right time to ask this but I've been wanting to ask it for a long time...' Josh says awkwardly.

I think I know where this is going...
'Perniya, would you like to go out on a date with me?' he asks.

I want to say yes but I just don't know if I'm ready for a relationship yet...
But then again... I really like him and we did kiss...

Screw it.
'Yeah, yeah I would' I say.
He looks at me with a smile on his face.
'R-really?' he stutters.
'Really' I say 'but right now lets just stick to looking for Lauren.'

'Oh yeah right' he looks forward and we continue walking.

I've gotta say... I'm pretty excited.
I-I mean... ya know, whatever.

I don't even care.
Heh-heh.... heh.....

I've been studying a lot as I have summer exams coming up so.... yeah😕
