I was walking around the village holding a basket for the vegetables i have to buy for me and my father i was now at a cart that had a lot of fresh vegetables i bought a phew vegetables and thanked the person who owned the cart they smiled I smiled back and made my way back home
But while i made my way home i heard someone scream i looked at the person who screamed it was a mother and she screamed over and over
"My poor boy has been taken!"
She screamed running around the village i heard hooves hit the floor it was the hunters who protect this village they stopped thier horses infront of the woman
"Thank goodness you are here my poor boy has been taken by a beast!"
The hunters looked at eachother then the woman
"Did you see the beast?"
"No but i only saw his black claws grab my sons legs and dragged him to the forest"
I listened closely
"Please find my boy!"
The hunters looked at the woman like she was insane
"I know you might think im insane but please!"
"Don't worry mam we will find your son"
"Thank you thank you!"
She thanked the hunters they bowed slightly and signaled thier horses to gallob as they did i shock my head and continued walking
I finally reached home and walked in and saw my father sitting on a chair infront of a window i sighed and put the basket on the table i heard my father look back
"Oh hello my dear"
I turned to my father smiling
"Hello father"
He smiled
"Anything interesting happend?"
I nodded and sighed
"A woman said that her son got taken by a beast"
My dad froze
"A beast?"
"Yeah she only saw his claws"
My dad looked down then didn't say anything
"Father?"
He didn't say anything then got up and got a book and sighed in relief
"Thank goodness"
"What?"
He looked at me
"Oh nothing sorry if i worried you"
He smiled then he sat back on his chair i shock my head thinking of nothing what just happend
A week later
It has gotten worse more and more people got taken by this beast even hunters got taken my father started to get scared so he never let me go out day or even night so i was stuck in our house but he did let me out if we needed food but today i felt like going outside so i sneaked out when i was finally out of my house i then decided to go in the forest so i made my way to the forest
