Her reflections haunted her, how she would stare into her cold azure eyes, and the reflection before her would stare coldly back.

It was a different person, another version of herself standing before her, but she knew that the person in the ice was all the same. No matter how many reflections surrounded her in the icy castle, they all would stay the same: Cold, cruel, unlovable.

She could stare for hours at a time at herself in the walls of ice, tearing herself apart because she knew she created a monster in herself, and in every single version of herself in every single reflection. She couldn't control that monster, hence how she ended up in the castle in the first place.

But she would break the ice and every reflection and remember that even if she couldn't help herself, a young girl with red hair would come for her, would save her and every reflection in the icy walls.

If she would just let her in.
